Mostly a take-out place; their chicken or beef with rice is very good and the accompanying red sauce is delicious. Family-run, very kind people.

I came to this place twice! Its used to be good! thats why Im leaving 3 stars

Samatar and his mom are wonderful and super-friendly. Went there a coupe of times after Jummah for their lamb on rice. Delicious and generous serving sizes. Is hard to find but worth going to . Also recommend take-out.

I read all the excellent reviews & decided to try out this place. When I walked in I was greeted with 3 dirty tables with left-over food strewn all over. There was a brother in the store who immediately told me that they do not have the most of the items on the menu available but that I should wait for the owner who would be back in 5 mins. When the owner arrived he said they have goat available. I asked for chicken or fish & he kept saying that he can make it goat. I figured that though the owner was friendly, I should not eat here because his friendliness is not going feed me. I probably will not return to this place.

Very nice place. The people who runs this place are really very awesome. Its not convenient to sit and eat but its very good for to go. I pray that they grow in business. Home cooked food..

It is a little place. The auntie who cooks is very sweet and nice. My husband and I went there for iftar yesterday, had the iftar special which was samoosas and sweet bread and then we had chicken suqaar with rice. It was all very good. The only thing I would say is its probably more of a take out place than to sit and dine in. There were other somali brothers there as well. If you are with family recommend you take food and go just because it is a small place, inshallah they grow big soon and add somali halwa to there menu

The food was absolutely amazing. We got the iftar special with chicken suqar and beef suqar which came with samosas and dates. The prices are very reasonable. I think I might have found my favorite hole in the wall in Dallas.

The owners are wonderful. The chicken suqar was good but it smelled like the rice was going bad and the chicken was dry. I don't blame the owners because I went after hours and they helped me out by serving me whatever they had left and it was also a day with record heat so any food sitting out too long got spoiled. The wonderful lady gave us extra food without charging which was equivalent to a aloo samosa, kheema luqmi, naan, and some ethiopian chicken nuggets. It was all delicious. Will definitely go back.

I've been eating here for years, and referring everyone I know, Desi, African, Arab, Asian, all of the above love this food. I had them cater for my walimah, and it was awesome. They've been in business for years and the owner's mom does all the cooking. She goes through many pains to make sure she offers the freshest food. I would say the food is 98% of the time Halal, but they're very honest about it. If they get an order and the customer doesn't mind (as they have many non muslim customers) they will use non halal chicken. This rarely happens because I used to work here, and only happens when the halal meat market next door runs out of chicken. (again rare) Everything else regularly is halal and you can call your order in and ask and they will confirm with an honest answer.

Food is great! Fresh and very affordable. Ask for the Madni platter!
