Kenny Roger's Roasters

April 15, 2012: There is a clearly visible halal sticker issued by the Islamic Da'wah Council at the entrance of this Kenny Rogers. The restaurant is very clean, well lit, and neatly maintained. Saw a lot of local muslim customers unlike other restaurants. Serves a variety of chicken meals - fried, grilled, bbq, American bbq. Except the fried chicken we tried the other three and it was quite good. These items are prepared fresh so it took about 15 minutes for them to serve. They also serve couple fish items. Kids loved the macaroni and cheese. Other sides we tried were chicken pasta, mashed potatoes and java rice. They didn't have bottled water! We tried iced tea, strawberry and mango juices but they were too sweet. We probably won't try the juices again but would definitely go back frequently for the grilled chicken and cheese burger :) Finally found a place where kids enjoy eating. Feb. 9, 2013: Kenny Rogers is no longer halal certified :( The halal signs have been removed.
