Nothing special here. Limited halal menu chicken in the bone only, took some of the oomph out of our experience. If you're absolutely dying to eat halal fried chicken in the suburbs of north Dallas, you could do worse.

I went to the KFC at coit road and spoke to them.The person I spoke to name was David who was the lead shift. He showed me the halal certificate and told me that this store carry machine slaughtered halal food. It's halal (not hand slaughtered, which I don't expect KFC would have it anyways nor I think do have all Pakistani/Indian halal restaurants in US). These are the details! Original recipe chicken is halal Krispy extra Krispy is halal Spicy grilled is halal For mashed potatoes, always ask White pepper gravy coz that is halal , brown gravy is not good as it has beef broth in it. Overall if u ordering from their menu board, these numbers 2,5,7, 9, 10 are good. Big buckets with chicken with bone is halal. Nashville hot chicken with bone on is halal. Non-Halal item: Popcorn chicken ( boneless), chicken tenders (boneless) and small hot wings ( this is the only meat with bone item which is not halal) are not halal. This does not include the big wings that come with chicken pieces. Kentucky grilled is not halal. In Kids meal, drum sticks are only halal Potato Wedges are halal but conform the fryer first. All above according to him is only available at these stores in Dallas not in all other KFC stores 2301 East 14 st 1504 Custer Road 8609 Ohio Dr 3040 old Denton road 1776 belt line road 6301 coit road 4117 north jersey lane This meat comes from Mar-Jac poultry LLC ( plant # 517). The meat of MarJac is certified halal by International institute of Islamic thought ( IIIT) who inspect their plant every 3 months. This is what I was told and I relayed the info to u guys. I am not responsible for any discrepancies though.

I went straight inside and asked the guy for halal original fried chicken. Had it on my table in 5 mins. Great service. Keep it up

It\'s KFC. It\'s Zabihah - just need to specify/ask when ordering. Can\'t go wrong with KFC - it\'s finger lickin\' good, now in Zabihah ;-)

They need to change the name of this chain to KFMM. Kentucky Fried Mystery Meat! What the heck did I just eat? I know it wasn't chicken. I give them a 2 based on the fact that it's even halal.

Their crispy and original recipes are halal. They are ready made so you don't have to call in advance. They tasted very good.

We were visiting Dallas and wanted to try this. We got there only 5 minutes late pass lobby hours, but the guy there was so nice and he allowed us to sit in after hearing that we are visiting Dallas, he checked my license to confirm :) Long story short, we really enjoyed spicy grilled chicken and we had to order more while having the original order. I was little disappointed with the fried chicken though as I find fried Churches Chicken better in my own town where we have only fried option.

Let me explain to everyone why Tyson has nothing to do with machine cut halal or hand cut halal. I have contacted Tyson Rep and have proof for anyone who needs. The problem with tyson is that the person who operates the Machine is not Muslim and a separate person reads Shahada who isnt part of the cutting process. This is almost similar to someone saying shahada right before you eat the meat. If the same person saying shahada operated the machine then it would make sense. my email is mrazvi786 at gmail if u want details of the convo....

For the last two outing we have been consistently served Re-heated and below average quality chicken. Just taking a look at the food, it is pretty clear that it has been re-heated e-fried many times. I would rather go to Hot-N-Crunchy for fried..

When I went to this place which was being advertised as Zabihah Halal, I asked for zabihah chicken, and front counter person had no clue what it was. A man came in from the back and corrected me and said, you have to say Halal. I was then served chicken from a pile that was used to serve everyone, and when I inquired, I was told all chicken there is halal. When I inquired further, I was told it was from Tyson. First of All, if the chicken is not Zabihah! you must stop advertising it as such on the radio. Second, to Zabihah.com staff that replied saying Tyson chicken is halal, you need to first look at your website name, which is Zabihah.com and not halal.com. You should know better the difference between to two. Everything that was made Halal, is allowed, but is it Zabihah? Please stop misleading Muslims that goto these establishments only to get Zabihah, otherwise, why not just goto any restaurant and eat there, as chicken is made Halal by Allah.

KFC that's halal?!?!?! In Dallas?! Enough said. Purely amazing. :)

Same food as other KFC's, except this is Halal. Make sure to ask the staff what is Halal. Dont make assumption that everything is halal.

Great food, good service. Happy to finally get another chain restaurant in the area serving Halal (Church's Chicken in Carrollton was the only other I know of).

The location and ambiance of this KFC is excellent, staff is very professional and they keep the place clean. Our biggest challenge here was the halal menu because only halal items were the chicken pieces (legs, thighs, wings). If you wanted a burger, strips, etc these were not halal. We ended up getting a 6 piece meal, which came with 3 biscuits and a large side (potato wedges, mashed potato) and two chicken wings. It was delicious, well cooked and very enjoyable. The wings were especially awesome! Overall a satisfying meal. Next time we may get all chicken wings :) If you like chicken pieces then you will love this place!

As other members, I have called KFC and was told the chicken is supplied by Tyson. Tyson provides halal, but is it zabihah? For those who are who are looking for 'zabihah', it is sadly not the case. Whenever there is a partial 'halal' menu, on needs to be very careful.

Found out about this place from a friend. Called to confirm halal status. I was told the original and extra crispy chicken is halal. When asked, I was informed that the chicken comes from Tyson. Very doubtful.

It was good to find Halal KFC after a long time. Only, options were limited like chicken pieces in original or as crispy were the available options :-/

Was dying to try out KFC. I have called twice and on both occasions I was told the meat used in the 'halal' and non halal menu are the same. I was told the meat comes from Tyson or Syson, could not make out the word. BTW, I did not speak to the owner himself but to a staff member.

Very good food and very reasonable priced. The mashed potatoes and the gravy were delicious same with the cole slaw, biscuit, and chicken itself. YUMMY!

We called based on ad on local desi radio channel, the owner Mr. Yousuf was very clear in telling us that the regular and crunchy fried chicken is always halal that is what they serve. We went with the kids and they liked it so much. We missed it all the time from our trips to Dubai. The place is clean the order was delivered immediately, service is really good. You will enjoy it, drive by for the Eid.

I literally ordered a mashed potato no gravy and got a mashed potato with gravy, I ordered a mac & cheese, got half a cup of cheese with only a few macaroni in it, but the muffins were good so was the sweet tea not really worth $15 though
