About Jimmy the Greek
Dominion Centre food court restaurant. Halal certificate on display. Back in 1963, Jimmy Antonopoulos immigrated to Canada from Nafplio, Greece and began working in a restaurant in the busy Bay Street business district. During this time he noticed that people had very few options to enjoy freshly prepared home cooked meals when on the go. Seeing his opportunity he started his first restaurant offering a menu inspired by his traditional Greek family recipes and 34 years later he is still offering those same great recipes. Today there are 55 Jimmy the Greek quick service restaurants across Canada. Jimmy's instincts were correct!

Try not to eat here.. The cross contamination from pork to chicken is bad.. I noticed one set of tongs and knife was used to cut meat. I asked the man behind the counter if there was halal chicken, he said yes all is halal and did the kind thing and washed all the utensils and board .. Hands and all with a strong soap. When he reached for the chicken skewer a bunch fell into the pork tray and he didn't react...I also realized all the meat is cooked on the same grill.. Please try to avoid eating here.. So that left me with salad mmmmmmmmmm

Had their few time, above average taste, owner showed us the box in which they import lamb from Australia. Can go here if there is no other choice.

Halal certificate on display, regular staff are very nice. It should be noted that this location also serves pork and only the chicken is halal. They have two chicken items and both are halal. The food tastes delicious: the chicken dinner is my personal favorite.
