Nice fresh food

The best chicken in Manchester! I always get Chicken Al-Faham (half or whole) with rice, Kebab Koobideh with Naan, (plenty of food for two hungry people) and Rubicon Mango drinks. Go and sit upstairs and they will bring food your food up. Seating area is not posh but is clean. Delicious food, they cook in a real tandoor, chicken is not spicy like Pakistani places but is very flavourful, they give you free salad and chutneys without asking, naan bread is authentically good too. They ask you what you ate at the end and you pay *after* eating - where else in Manchester do you get that? Chicken is not as good for takeaway, please eat it hot and fresh there ...

🍽️ Food I had the kobeda and chicken tikka with rice, and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was full of flavour, perfectly cooked, and served with great sauces and a fresh salad. On another visit I ordered the same dish but with naan instead of rice and it was lovely. ⏱️ Service The staff are nice. Service is always friendly, with food arriving at the table within around 15 minutes of placing your order. 🏠 Atmosphere Warm, relaxed vibe, especially upstairs where it’s nicer to sit. It could do with a little updating, but honestly, you come here for the food. 💰 Value Generous portions and reasonable prices for the quality. Cash only. Also, there are toilets upstairs, they are basic but fine. 👍 Overall Highly recommend Afghan Cuisine. I enjoying eating here!
