Bravo Pizza & More

Me and my husband was craving for Halal American cuisine so we did some google-ing and came across this restaurant on Zabihah. We have always pass through this shop but never noticed that it was halal. It is situated the next block to Malden Masjid. It is a small place with like 6 tables but I noticed most of the customers ordered beforehand and have it for takeout instead of dining-in. I had cheeseburger with fries and a can of soda for $6, which I think is cheap. My husband had wings. We personally think the food satisfied our cravings and would definitely come again if we want American food. The food is delicious but not super yummy. The owner was friendly and helpful. But one thing about this restaurant is that the wait is a bit long. I guess because even though there\'s not a lot of customers in the restaurant, they\'re are busy preparing for take-out orders and every now and then there\'s people coming in and out. It would help if you call to place your order before coming in.

I just so happened to walk past Bravo earlier this evening and saw a beautiful Halal sign on the window. With my curiosity piqued, I decided to enter, 99% sure I would not order anything as I was planning on eating elsewhere. After casually speaking to the staff about their menu, their warmth and hospitality completely changed my mind and I decided to order something. They assured me that everything on the menu was Halal and there was not a doubt in my mind regarding that. They have an extensive menu, mirroring that of most Boston pizzerias and I ordered a hot sub with steak, onions, mushrooms and peppers. While they were very busy, my food came very soon, presented on a beautiful plate. I'm a big eater, but when I looked at the size of the sandwich, and particularly the enormous amount of meat stuffed in - I knew I was in for a treat. After the first bite, I literally began smiling - it was that good. In addition to the sandwich, I got a bag of Jalapeno potato chips, a homemade brownie and a bottle water, and the bill was less than $12. I would highly, highly recommend this place. Two thumbs way up.

My original review is below. Based on continuous usage. I think he overcharges. He charges 16.50 for a 14.75 pizza with tax. I didn't notice that until recently so I asked him if the tax rate was 6.25%. He said it was changed a long time ago. ---------------------------------------------------------- Oh Allah...he gave me such a big burger for $7.Could have given a normal serving and taken a couple of dollars off. Forgot about a milk shake I ordered but all the well cause couldn't have had it with that burger.

i like their Pizza and it's the only thing i've tried so far, but based on these reviews i'll definitely try the burger next time i'm there.

It was a very *special* occasion tonight to go out n for some reason we picked this place and alhamdulillah it was great decision! We were on sub mood so we tried few sub items- chicken bomb, steak chicken combo, buffalo wings ! Very delicious alhamdulillah :) people working there are friendly! They play Quran tape on background. This place is clean, food price is reasonable! They have halal sign on the window, menu. It has enough sitting area but the location uses street parking! Definitely recommended! We'll go next time to try something else specially their pizza inshaAllah :)

nice food..big portion i might add..ordered cheese burger for only $6.50 with salad and tons of fries ...only problem my wife wing dings not fully cooked, but I guess too many people waiting...as alidost said, they play quran recite at background..big halal sign in front of the door..another problem also is parking space..very little parking space...i need to make 3 round the block to get a parking space..but really love to try their pizza someday..

Excellent Pizza and Calzones, HUGE Sub sandwiches that are delicious. Everything is halal. Most of his customers are non-Muslims, but he has Qur'an tape playing in the background. Price is right, portions are huge. There is a masjid next door (above CVS Pharmacy)
