I called and the Reading Rd. branch and a brother verified that the Reading Rd branch indeed serves halal meat. He then went on to add that the chicken wings were not halal as they buy them from a different vendor. The brother at the front was very helpful and very pleasant. He greeted me with Assalamualaikum and the proceeded to ask me how Ramadan was going. He even gave me a Ramadan discount! :D I ordered a Philly steak, fried chicken (he was kind enough to give me legs and thighs on request - and not the wings) and a cheeseburger. Food was prepped in 10 minutes and was FABULOUS! Philly steak was very juicy. Highly recommended! Fried chicken was succulent on the inside and crisp on the outside. 10/10! The cheeseburger was also very good but I do agree that it was a little dry and overdone. Overall, I would definitely recommend the place to everyone with the understanding that this is a take-out joint and not a dine-in location. BUT I TELL YOU WHAT, THE FOOD IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS! :D

I went there a few weeks ago and tried the fried chicken combo, with fries, coleslaw and bread. The food was all very good. We also tried the fried gizzards, they were good but way too tough for me, my husband liked them though. My only complaint is that the restaurant is very dirty and gross. We planned on eating in but once I walked in I knew I couldn't ... we actually ate in the car instead lol. I would go back for the food, but definitely for take out only.

This is a good place when you want to grab a quick bite of something salty. The chicken is done well but the seasonings are salt-heavy and make you wonder if your blood pressure will spike after the first bite. Tried the teriyaki chicken sandwich and it seemed like they added salt to the salt. The staff is decent enough but there is no place to eat in at all and they seem like they are more concerned with getting orders out fast rather than doing the food well. The price is low but the overall quality doesn't make you want to come running back.

We had burgers & Philly sandwiches here and it was OK. The food here suffices for a quick bite but it is not something worth going out of your way for. I wish they would clean up the bathroom, though. Overall the premises is clean and food & service is acceptable.

I recently went to this resturan. Chicken wings are not halal. Halal items include all fish items and all sandwiches. Philly chesese steaks was very tasty. Also fish & chips was excellent. Best part was it was not dripping any oil. Since other chicken items are made in same frying oil as non-halal chicken wings - I did not order these items. Owner has two more branches also. However, other branches do not carry halal items. I advised him and hope that he will advertise his all branches at local Mosques and start carrying 100% halal item at all 3 branches.

Only some items are halal, which is stated clearly on Menu. Muslim brother behind front counter. Place was small, limited seating, but was busy w/take out orders. Food was good, and ready in no time. Fish had a bit of a 'live' taste! But I guess fresh is like that!
