About Aladdin Gyro-Cery

Aladdin is located on the bottom on University Way, very close to the Big Time Brewery and right across the street from Burger Hut. The Aladdin Gyro-Cery is well known for the fact that it is open late. This place is always open at 2:30, and could be open until 3:00am or later. This is one of the few, and certainly the best, place to get late night food in all of the University District.

As usual the gyro is just a processed meat so Halal or not it is still processed meat. On this place you need to ask for The Halal Gyro as they serve non halal one too. Hummus is very good. Falafel is good but the rest of the menu is average as the rest of the halal restaurants in Washington. We really don't have good restaurants here as other States

Love the jumbo Gyro here. It has a different taste then the majority of Gyros in Seattle. Their rice is also a must get for us. The place could use a cleaning though.

I'm not sure if this is owned by the same people as Aladdin felafel corner down the street, but anyway I guess they both deserve there own reviews. As for this place, not all the meat is halal and the gyros taste average. There are a lot of halal gyro places in Seattle and if you only have time to try one then I wouldn't recommend this one. But if you need a halal meal at 2:00 am on a Saturday then this is a good place.
