This is a brilliant place to try out good Egyptian Cuisine. And if you are new in Portland, and particularly searching for Halal food, this is the place to go. The Owner is an Egyptian Muslim, a very friendly chap, serving authentic Halal food! He makes it a point to prove it to you, unlike the other Food trucks that have a \\\'Halal\\\' tag but cheat & serve you anything & everything. Please do make sure to add this to your \\\"To-Visit\\\" spot in Portland.\r\n\r\nDietary restrictions: Truly Halal: If you are looking for Halal Food, and a person who doesn\\\'t cheat, this is the right place!

Asked them before ordering and they said all their food is halal and halal sign clearly visible. Had their lamb and chicken combo. It was good. Lots of meat.

I asked them if the meat was halal and he said, "everything but the lamb is halal." So it should say partial halal menu. Also, their is no indication on their menu as to which items are not halal, in fact it says "halal" under on the cart. So many muslims may just assume all the meat is halal when it is not. So make sure you ask which items are halal. My second complaint about this restaurant is that the workers were not very friendly. As far as the food, it was good and filling.
