Although this outpost of busboys is not only deep in Nat's land, but also deep in R#@$*!%s land, I checked it out bcz it is busboys and poets after all. As expected awesome experience all around and great location. And in response to below posters, the menu says halal chicken. Best halal restaurant on the east coast.

I really like this restaurant. The food is good and there's a nice vibe inside. I've been to three locations so far. The college park/hyattsville location is also great - that area was very much in need of a cool place like this that serves Halal food.

I went there a few months and spoke with the staff regarding its halal status... Its not Halal, infact they didnt even know what halal meant... If anyone has different info pls advise

This place is pretty cool. Located in the Shirlington area. They have a variety of food options, including amazing dessert and coffee offerings. Their pecan pie with ice cream is my favorite. Decent seating with great customer service.
