Every thing was up to the mark staff was very friendly and most important thing that was zabiha halal taste was really good hot and well cocked I will definitely go there again

This place is a dump in the ghetto of Orlando. I would not advise coming here with your family or after sunset. It is a typical low level fast food restaurant that serves fried food and greasy pizza. Somehow the concept of halal stops at the slaughtering. After that it is up for grabs for anyone to open up a joint in the worst part of town and serve the worse food but still identify it as halal. Why? Suspect fake review with 5 stars in 01/2018.

Called and went in person and both times they confirmed \"Everything is Halal\" which i felt was true. Plus their Qalemah sign on the door (as shown on the pic on this site) is very visible. So the partial halal info on this site should be ignored. Food is the best Halal fast food in Orlando. Prices are the cheapest Tried the 10 pc chicken bucket chicken and 20pc buffalo wings. Buffalo Wings are a must try for anyone. They also sell burgers/pizza/gyro/philly cheesesteak. Service is great but i recommend calling your order way ahead as this place is very busy. Big sitting area and very clean. Bathrooms aren\'t so clean. They also deliver if you call them early enough.

Came here with my cousin late at night and the places was busy. Food was okay for a fast food restaurant and price was reasonable. It's great if you are looking for a quick bite to eat. Easy access to the location but not in the best neighborhood if you are looking for the touristy feel. *** since my last review, I have heard that this place stopped serving halal meat in 2016. We called and the guy on the phone said they don't, but I suggest you do your own research as we don't want to harm a business if it is halal with this review update

Great Restaurant. Whenever, I am in Orlando, I visit this place and sometimes more than once, MashaAllah. Love the burgers and, chicken wings of all kinds, Philly Cheesesteak etc. is my favorites,

Came from Houston found good ratings figured I try it out the area looked very shady but don't let the area fool u the food was amazing had the double cheese burger and smoky buffalo wings that were the best wings I have had so far highly recommend it!

We r new in Orlando someone referred this place to us, went there with family few times food was not that great couple of time they gave me my order wrong went to there other location and manager there was extremely rude and disrespectful, we live 10 miles from this place last time we ordered Philly cheese steaks one of the sandwich shad burnt meat when I called the said o bring it back to us they started arguing that we made all the sandwiches together it's not possible when I had the sandwich with burnt meat in my hands Do not recommend this place We r not planning to go back

Excellent chicken! The best I've had in the U.S.!

The food was excellent but the location was ghetto. It's an African American low income area but supposedly has a big Muslim population. There are topless clubs down the street so if you are not used to the hood, just go for take out. The restaurant is also very run down. We ordered the supreme pizza, garlic bread, fried chicken and wings. Prices are decent and the brother is very friendly. All good was surprisingly very delicious and properly flavored.

It is located in a very bad Neighborhood so for families it would be better to go in the morning. They had a menu of kabobs, but most of the customers were ordering fried chicken. Not a clean place and the food is greasy.

The food tastes good. The fried chicken is nice and crispy. The fries are awesome. This restaurant was on the top 25 dirtiest restaurants in Orlando. I went there one day and they were cleaning the grease trap. It smelled nasty.

Came here on a Sunday. Ordered the spicy chicken burger and Philly cheesesteak. Spicy chicken burger looked like those processed pieces of meat, not a chicken breast. It tasted ok. Philly steak was ok. Fried chicken was big and ok tasting

Service is excellent, owners are friendly and good practicing Muslims. And the food is excellent, American style. What more can you ask for in a restaurant? We are definitely coming here whenever we visit Orlando.

Love this place! The heart-attack burgers, with spicy chicken in it, the sweet n chili wings, the chicken nuggets, chicken tenders and spicy chicken burger are the best!

Simple, no frills establishment with quality and good tasting food. The service s fast and friendly and the prices are reasonable. They also do not expect tips for take out service.

I'm from Miami, we don't have much halal american fast food so we die for this place. The workers are very nice and funny. The food is great especially the philly steak. Every time we visit Orlando, we have to stop at this place. It may not be the most glamorous place, but the food is good. I recommend the spicy chicken burger, grilled chicken burger, gyro, and philly steak. In our last visit we tried something new, the banana pudding; it is really good.

I have the following feedback: 1) Very nice owners and service. Everyone referred to me as a brother :-) 2) The area is slummish 3) The seating area is fast foodish but on the rough side. Stay away from the washrooms 4) Food is fried chicken, which isn't bad. Burgers which are ok. Pizza, needs improvement

I don't live in Orlando but whenever I visit, this place is ALWAYS on my To-do list! Staff are friendly Food is very tasty Price is reasonable Portion is good Yes, it's not the fanciest place and not the safest location, but in all my visits (and I have been there plenty of times) I've never seen anything grossed me or made me feel unsafe.

Good value for money and pretty decent fare. A big plus is that they are open till late in the night. Food quality is typical fast food and given the fact that they are halal, there is little reason to complain.

The food was reasonably priced but I felt that the fried chickens were a little too oily. My wife seem to like them. The staff was nice and friendly.

We used the drive through as our kids were asleep. Really appreciate that convenience. The order taker was nice and talked to us in the hip hop manner which was funny to us. We ordered chicken boxes but they forgot to put in the side dishes and biscuits. That was so disappointing. So if you do order take out or drive through, make sure everything's included. I think they're a bit disorganized too. The chicken was so so, and the bacon cheeseburger was good.

Stopped by for very late night snack on our trip to theme parks in Orlando. Friendly Customer service and lots of variety in food. Stopped by next day as well for lunch and on the road food. Almost tried everything. Fish was so so. Liked fried chicken, burgers and wings w/bbq sauce.

Our GO TO place for a late night halal meal.. EXCELLENT wings, pizza and steak sandwiches! Good chicken sandwiches and fried chicken. Friendly and respectful workers. Prices are CHEAP, especially if dining in with a large family (which we frequently do)!

We researched this place as a halal option before traveling to Orlando. We were not disappointed. The owner was very friendly, the food was inexpensive, and the establishment was clean. This is a fast food restaurant, so don't come here looking for healthy options :) We would go back here when we are in Orlando again without hesitation.

I've recently been going to this place almost once a week. I've only ordered the fried chicken boxes and the double cheeseburger, both of which have been quite delicious. And my favorite side item is the corn on the cob, which is always fantastic. The fried chicken is always juicy and usually pretty freshly made. Only one time out of many visits was it unsatisfactory. Note, the place is not fancy, and can feel sketchy for people who don't know the area well. Just use the drive thru. Prices are very reasonable.

Salam. I had to do quiet a lot of driving to find this place. But I was happy I did find it. One of the best fast food places ever! And the prices were reasonable. The location is a bit dingy but oh well what can you do?

I take in a lot of food indulgences, but I also work out 5x a week, so I am OK for doing this..i come here not for the fried chicken, but the amazing mouth watering delicious halal bacon cheeseburger..one bite, and you will probably try coming here daily like I do,.lol.(only if I really could!)..top it off with a hand made Hershey shake. this place is it!

I have been a regular customer of Texas Fried for a little over 3 years now...by regular I mean at least 2 x per week every week, as I work at a shopping center fairly close, and this place has a late night drive through which comes in the way to my workplace, I grab lunch..i think the poor kitchen report is OVERBLOWN..first of all..i have NEVER NEVER gotten ill from all my eating here..second of all, the kitchen is very similar to a modern American fast food place..meaning..IT IS 80% open view right in front of counter..also muslim brothers are very friendly and many times asked if I could wait a few mins longer so they can whip me up a fresh batch...this place has NEVER let me down, in fact if you read the report article it even said they have made MASSIVE improvement..i will continue to eat here, as I see it as just as clean as any other modern American place.and no I don't know the owner personally..my eatmorechicken tag is in refer to avoiding the dangers of red meat.

According to them they have failed last 5 inspections.I have frequent this place before,but after watching this I am never eating there. I am totally in love with this place! each and everytime i order the food it is consistent, piping hot and delicious. it is a rare find indeed when you can find a muslim owned halal option that has fast food comparable to like a wendys premium sandwhich or a premium burger from burger king. there combos are a very good value.also sell a lot of variety and there one of the few muslim owned restuarants that have unlimited drink refills and hand scooped ice cream and dining room is open very late. best thing going in town for fast halal food.

Eh, I think it's OK. The "halal-ness" of this place is a bit iffy. Not guaranteed halal because of all the mixed things I hear. The chicken was alright, not too crazy about anything else. Atmosphere wasn't the best, and owners/waiters weren't very friendly.

A hidden gem! Definitely one of the best tasting halal food places in Orlando area! We ordered take-out for a variety of sandwiches and fried chicken. Everything was delicious and nicely packed. Very courteous staff. I would highly recommend this place although it is in a run-down neighborhood, it's well worth it!

I like it here! Awesome place for someone who just arrives in orlando and looking for halal food. I was really happy to got eat chicken and cheeseburgers. And the employees are very honest as well. fantastic fast food joint. Not sure about other reviews hating on the neighbourhood. Sure its not a posh suburb, but roads seemed fine, and no hobos or dealers loitering. Perhaps they didnt like that theres a bunch of strip clubs a few hundred meters away. Either way, we came here for a quick meal. Service was superb. Turns out the owner (an ex NYC resident) has a place over in NYC (in ridgewood), we walked past it 2 months ago and was wondering if this store and that one were linked. Very chatty and helpful. I had a double cheesburger, wife had a chicken burger and we shared a portion of chicken tenders. Everything was great, burgers full of flavour and huge 'n heavy. Very cheap too! wish them lots of success, they deserve it!

Awesome double cheeseburgers. Friendly staff and open till 3 in the night. I drove there twice from Disney and I would say it was worth the 20 min drive. Highly recommended

the food here is quick service a.k.a. fast food, but it is a PREMIUM TASTE..pretty much all of it is made with t.l.c..you can tell by the chunky fresh vegetables in the chicken filet sandwhich and the cheeseburgers, they put everything on it..don't skimp on nothing..even comes with a heaping mound of fried..even there chicken wings are whole and jumbo..plus unlimited soda refills...you can't beat this place in the area..everything is tasty and uniformed staff is courteous.

they make one serious cheeseburger.lots of quality toppings and most definitely one of the better tasting cheeseburgers i've had in my life.the combos cost pretty much the same as other american fast food places. they also have halal pizza new york style which is really tasty also.

This has got to be the best fast food outlet in Orlando! We come to Orlando every year as a family and try new places to eat and this has got to be one of the best places so far. The service and food was excellent and we even left an iPhone by accident and they returned it which was honest and decent of them. MashAllah the food tasted good every time we went as we went on several occasions and I would recommend the cheese burger and spicy chicken burger! Not to forget the Philli steak sandwich...

This place hires mostly illegals with no socials and no work permits to slave in their kitchen for $6 to $7 an hour working them for 10-12 hrs a day. They really should be ashamed of their work ethics and business practice. I would never support a business like this. Look at the kitchen staff. When you go in, ask to speak to Najib Baihat, he is one of this companies longest worked illegals. He is the one that prepares your food. When you go in, ask to speak to Najib and thank him for his hard efforts and let him know he is appreciated.

Owner doesn't know If "New Texas Fried Chicken & Pizza's" meat is Hand slaughtered or Machine slaughtered. Which is important to know because this tells whether meat is Halal or Haraam. *Machine Slaughtered meat is Haraam. Salaam to all. The food was excellent. The burgers were great and the fried chicken. I'm happy that we have some good halaal food here. I hope the owner can extend another restaurant in Clermont FL. Would be profitable for our community. Don't really fancy the area, that's why a lot of people like myself would love to have a Texas Fried Chicken in our neighborhood (Clermont, FL). Would definitely appreciate it.

Let it be know that since I am originally from New Jersey I am tough food critic. I had some high expectations after seeing most of these Orlando joints were rated so highly. I must say this place definitely lived up to all it's high ratings, In some cases it exceeded expectations. I personally tried the pepperoni pizza which is advertised as "New York" style and it definitely tasted that way; great!. Next I bit into a juicy double cheeseburger and WOW! it was the best burger I've had in soooo long. Tastes more like a burger king burger. I also tried the cheesesteak and it was very good but not the best, I think if they got the ketchup right then it would have been excellent as well. Lastly, I tried the buffalo wings and although they weren't true buffalo wings they still were plenty spicy and had a nice taste to them. All in all we were very impressed by this place and the cheeseburgers alone make it worth eating here.

i will admit i was not expecting anything more than typical fast food, but i was amazed at how much "qaulity" is put into the food. the sandwhiches were made with red onion, which i know is more costly then regualar onion, all sandwhiches came "loaded" and the pricing is very very affordable. the food tasted more like premium fast food, but at regular fast food prices, and it is halal that combination is unbelievable! you also get unlimited self serve free drink refills which is very difficult and scarce to come across halal restuarants and they also have full dessert menu and everything is quick,fresh,and they treat customers well.wholeheartedly recommended.

there's lots to pick from! everything is pretty inexpensive, service is quick and fast, i like the fact that they have free drink refills and lots of choices for everything from sandwhiches, pizzas, desserts, chicken, wings, burgers, fish, they cover it all with great taste and fast service, and pretty much everything comes with a huge plate of fries.

The food was excellent with service to match. We visited a number of places in Orlando with great ratings on Zabihah only to be sorely disappointed and this was a final effort before we resorted to pizza hut etc. We were extremely glad that we took a chance. We tried the fried chicken, pepperoni pizza and cheese burgers combos and for desert ice cream. Everyone was extremely pleased. Brother Nazir was extremely hospitible and went out of his way to accommodate us. BTW the cost was extremely reasonable! This should be one of the first places that you visit in Orlando. I wish them much success and ISA they will continue to deliver quality food and service.

AOA..all muslims brothers, this is one of the best fried chicken place in Orlando. We tried their fried chicken, Gyro platter, chicken and beef burgers and they are all awesome. Their Gyro meat and rice is soo good, the quantity is not that great but still good for a person. I can compare this with NYC Gyro. Fried chicken is very juicy and tasty. I will recommend this restaurant to everyone. The area is not so great but the food and people are awesome and friendly. keep up the good taste. Allah will give you more success inshallah.

we had tried going to another restaurant first but they were closed so we came here. the food was really good (though a bit. greasy. the staff ate very nice and it was a happy change to finally go to a place that there was no question whatsoever about the food being halal! would recommend highly

During our last visit to Orlando, we decided to try out this place. The place is located in a run down part of the town but the food was great! If they can move their business to a bit better location such as I-drive, it will be great for them and their customers

they have it button'ed down, the staff makes some of the best fried chicken i have ever tasted,at a great affordable price, you can bring a family and pay around $20 at most for a full meal. always been good at what they do best..highly recommended.

gotta love there NY STYLE HALAL PEPPERONI PIZZA!...whenever i ask them for a whole pie, they always make it fresh!..real cool dudes, always smiling and cracking jokes, and helpful..the fried chicken is the real deal...free drink refills..great place to grab lunch and chill.

well set up, professionally run as similiar to any other quick fast food service restuarant, food is good and priced fairly, a great place to grab something to go, with full drive through or dine in,..only thing i disliked are there fries..there so-so tasting, fries could be better..the cheesburgers and fried chicken are outstanding, just the fries i'm not too fond of.

Had the steak and cheese and the spicy chicken sandwich. It was ok. Sort of a seedy area during the evening, so try and go during the day if possible.

The chicken was lovely and the guys working their seemed down to earth. Went on 29 September 2011. Area does seem a little dodgy so probably would only visit during the day.

This restaurant was one of the most memorable meals we had when my family and I had visited Orlando. We ordered a philly cheese steak, bacon cheese burger (Halal), fried chicken tenders and velvet cake. ALL FOR $30! The service there was excellent, very friendly owner. The food was very satisfying especially the fried chicken. They served the food in good portions also the food came very fast. If there was 6 stars that is what I would rate it .Would definitely come back :)

There food was banging. Ive been to new texas in NY years ago and this one in orlando is by far better. i enjoyed my meal with my friends and the workers were very professional and polite, i will return hear along with bringing my other friends and im sure theyll enjoy as much as i did. There burger and buffalo wings are delicious. mhmmm.

Thanks to this place I don't miss KFC at all. Their spicy chicken sandwich is fantastic.

best halal bacon cheeseburgers in town!..not a fan of there new york style pizza..but the fried chicken is the real deal, just like any typical american fast food joint..got free refills on drinks, fast service, always smiling, chicken sizzling hot..never any complaints..love it here!

Not the best location but the best fried chicken in town.

i was dragged in here by my local friends who said it was pretty much the closest halal place you are going to find for lunch in or near downtown...i was'nt expecting much, just mediocore fast food i thought..but wow!..were my taste buds surprised..it's is honest to god good chicken,..heck you can even see the spices and herbs in the coating...i'm happy to report this will go on my favorites list.

i just recently returned from miami florida, where believe it or not..there are a select few "Kentucky" franchises that have HALAL chicken options,..so i figured that is the best thing ever happened to halal chicken..i was wrong after coming to this place..hahahaha..superb! fried chicken!...i won't be stopping at "K" chicken anymore in miami hahahaha..after i found TEXAS HALAL FRIED!..keep it up!..mashallah you have the best tasting halal chicken i ever had.

I just returned from living a number of years in UAE, where i was spoiled by having the halal choices of american fast food chicken,..and i thought my love of fried chicken would be no more =)...but this one is definite keeper in Orlando..the fried chicken is top notch and on par with the american outlets...the variety here is mindboggling,..the menu is maybe 3-4 times the size of the american chicken outlets i enjoyed in UAE.

i have been to this palce on my previous visit to Orlando. I found that it was nice. the chiken tasted v nice. i was a little reluctant as nobody knew what "halal" was. Then i met the owner who was muslim and told me it wsa halal. WOuld go back. Allah oh Alim.

I used to work for texas fried chicken. I was the delervery driver. My name is Yah-Ya Canet. The food there is NOT HALAL. There is no certifacte to verify. They ordered a box of menus to advertise HALAL and then some boxes of Halal chicken to obtgain the sticker on the box that way they can show people that it is halal. ..my family and i take annual trips out to the panhandle and we know make sure to grab a box of fried chicken from this place as opposed to fried fish from fast food places.,..it's the best tasting i've had so far..i even had halal american franchisies chicken in other towns and states and still say this is better!.. we always go with the white meat box and it tastes great!..the family meal deal is the best $20 you'll spend...but always ask for white meat, which has an upcharge, but you'd be glad you did because the pieces are huge!..we've also dabbed a little bit in their other offerings such as burgers and pizza..i found them to be underwhelming but the chicken is perfect!

burgers are good, spicy chicken was good, philly was good but small, wings were the best in town but the chicken fried pieces are tasty yet small..wish they would look for bigger pieces like KFC size

..definitely a great place to get that fried food fix if your having cravings..they have the best chicken in town..hands down.(ask my 7 year old :o)).because they have all the right gear to pull it off..like american style fryers and equipment..no complaints here..with one small exception..some off the staff do not pay close attention to the order and charge additional for things you may not have ordered (drink cups/fries)..just bring it to their attention and they fix it right away..however it did happen on more than one occasion..just check your receipts and you'll be okay.

this place is excellent for comfort foods..they have nearly every fast food item imaginable under one roof, and for once.the pictures that are on the wall is of actual food they serve unlike some other places in town that have pictures off the internet and i was definitely not expecting that.this place is on par with the american fast food chicken places and the taste and price of food meet or exceeds those american places..just my 2 cents.

So I was really excited about trying out this new restaurant. Went and asked the people working if it was halal. There were a couple of nonmuslims working and they didn't know what Halal was... then I guess the owner or the son of the owner told us that there is partially halal menu. We tried it our fried chicken was actually kinda cold some how.. overall not too good of an experience. really wish it was better I was all excited and stuff!

OMG!...This place is amazing!..you owe it to yourself to try it out if your really into fast food..the fresh fried chicken is spot on!..there's tons on the menu,.stuff like bacon cheeseburgers, pizzas, wings, and everything's cheap..the place is really clean and comfy..the only thing i don't like is.like, the neighborhood is questionable?..i would'nt go there at nite to dine in,..but that's why there's a DRIVE THRU!..this place is first to win! :p
