Passing through La Roche-sur-Yon, I discovered a breakfast miracle: the Savoyard bread (a mix of different flours, including chestnut). A subtle flavor, a dense crumb that's both soft and airy, all wrapped in a crispy crust! Wow, it's very rare to find something like this. Congratulations to the baker who works with such passion. I highly recommend it! Let's support local artisans! 🤩☀️🌈
Kudos to the young couple who took over the bakery and are keeping our French craftsmanship alive. The bread is very good, the pastries too, the cakes are slightly less impressive but still quite decent. The only downside used to be the staff's welcome, but that has improved recently.
La MEILLEURE boulangerie de la roche. Pains spéciaux valent le détour et le cinaminroll est une tuerie. Grand choix de sandwichs qui semblent être bien garnis et que je testerai une prochaine fois. Je recommande.
This bakery is top-notch. The croissants are to die for (they're short, admittedly, but incredibly tall 😅), the bread is delicious, and the ingredients are carefully selected with a certain philosophy of baking. An establishment run by a true artisan who genuinely respects his products (and therefore his customers) is so rare that it deserves to be praised, especially when the result is this good.
