I stayed at the Hilton Hotel in Rotterdam thinking i would greatly benefit from the in-house Halal restaurant The Lounge. Location was central, ambience was luxurious and staff was friendly BUT the problem was that it turned out that only Chicken is Halal and that too the chef could not verify 100%. I asked for the certification but they could not provide one. They were nice enough to offer me seafood and vegetarian dishes. Anyways, i would not recommend anyone who is particular about Halal food to dine here as it is mainly a bar restaurant that also serves pork and other non-Halal meats.

Food is very good. Quite expensive as are all hotel restaurants generally. Service is slow - I guess deliberately
