awesome chicken and rice, I also had the sambal prawns which were very nice. only drawback for me was the warm chicken as I like my chicken piping hot. all was very tasty, a clean place and service is quick.
I love this place. One of the best Chinese Halal Chicken Rice. Of course there are other dishes as well but Chicken Rice is the specialty here. It is basically rice cooked in chicken broth serves with either roasted or steamed chicken with slices of cucumber and soy sauce and chilli gravy at the sides. The clear chicken soup that comes with the chicken rice has peanuts in it so if you have nut allergy, do ask the server to remove the nuts. The other must try dish is the "kerabu mangga"-basically the traslation is "mango salad". It is unripen mango sliced thinly and mixed with peanuts, sliced shallots, fried anchovies and dressed with a dash of fish sauce, lime juice, salt & sugar. One of the best "kerabu mangga" in Malaysia. This outlet in Bukit Bintang is always crowded. It opens for lunch all the way until 9 p.m. or so. It is within walking distance and there are lots of hotels and motels nearby. If I go to Bukit Bintang this would be among the favourite place to eat. There is ample open parking space surrounding Bukit Bintang but you have to walk to go to this restaurant. In terms of pricing it is quite pricey for a local dish (I'm talking in a Malaysian point of view) but it is nevertheless is affordable. The chinese tea either ice or hot is ideal to drink with this but then again there is a variety of local drinks as well. Service wise, well it's kinda so-so only since it is always crowded so don't expect a fancy service from this restaurant. Chicken rice is a healthy, balanced meal so give this one a try if you are staying around Bukit Bintang.
