Have been going there for few years now. Food us good, staff are very nice, price reasonable only issue. The sauce is same in every dish.

The beef burger had bones, the coleslaw was perhaps from a supermarket and horrible, steak was chewy and ribs could do with more meat. Portions were not equal. Decor was just ok but clean. The oversized waiter dropped my jacket on the floor with no apology and there was cold draft about which no one did anything. You can basically count the chips! Not my kind of place.

Since a few years ago, I've been dying to go to South Africa and well I guess this restaurant takes me one step closer! The one dish that really stood out for me was the Zulu sausage.. It was really tasty. Along with the blue mango drink of theirs. Yummy! I visited them a couple of months ago and did a blog post if you want to read the full review.. http://www.halalgirlabouttown.com/jungle-braai/

food is excellent, I tried the Zulubower sausages someone here recommended, lovely. the staff are very friendly and welcoming, PLEASE BE AWARE THEY DO NOT ACCEPT CARD PAYMENTS, we told them we need to go and get cash, they said no problem, eat here first then you can get cash, and thats what we did, they trust customers a lot :) will be coming back here with the wife :)

My first time having halal south African food and I thought it was hmmm... Reasonable let's just say that the food was ok but nothing special.

I've frequented this locale for a few months now, both at lunchtime and for dinner, and I've been satisfied with the food, the service, and the price each time. The "special African sauce" is spectacular, as are the lamb chops, the Zulu beef burger, and the Zulu Boerwors. The lunch specials are especially generous, So I would recommend going to Jungle Braai then.

Go here quite regularly. Lucnhtime deals are all very good, but i would go back to this place everytime just for the Zulu Burowers sausages! Also, the ciabattas are a cheap and filling alternative to usual pizza. The other stuff on the menu is decent, price is reasonable, and the manager of the place is always very friendly and welcoming...everytime he see's me he says the same thing "Thats too much you can never finish that"! Lol

I have been there twice now and the food and service is great. The price is reasonable but unfortuantely the sauce although tastes great is used on too many of the dishes. So after a while if your having chicken or steak it tastes the same. I would recommend it if you would like something different.
