Oh where would I have been during my younger years without Ethel Bakeries.... Fantastic selection of pastries, kebabs and so on, all reasonably priced and all taste very nice. Hah that rhymed! It\'s ideal for people who live, work nearby or go the college/universities in close proximity. Unfortunately, there is no place to eat inside (it\'s more of a collect and go kind of deal for those who have yet to go here) and unless you can find somewhere to sit down and eat fairly quickly (or have a microwave handy) your food is at risk of getting cold, and that is seriously not cool (oh my, a pun as well!) Do make sure you get there early though, as stock runs out quickly. The other drawback is their logical yet inconvenient opening times: weekdays only 9-5 i.e when everyone is at work... Overall, it offers good value for money, and satisfying halal food. Can\'t say fairer than that.

Good selection of freshly baked pastries and sandwiches. Perfect place to get a nice snack, try the chicken tikka pastry and the meat samosas which are amazing. Not expensive either. Cant wait to go back for more.
