Food is really good.
We were there few days ago and was told meat is halal but they do serve alcohol. It is a fancy place and prices are on the higher side which is understandable being in Palo Alto.
Food is always good! The lentil soup is fantastic. Alcohol served on site.
While their food was better than I expected - we tried the Chicken Shish Plate, Doner plate and Iskender. but their casual dismissal of our reservation, the downright rude and racist behavior of their staff means I won't ever be coming back. Promise. More here.
stay away from this full bar and ALCOHOLIC place. they recently bought the next door business(ramona pizza) to expand their BAR and not halal restaurant. very very very deceiving people.
Went here recently for a late lunch. I had the Alexander Plate which is gyro meat in a tomato sauce with bread pieces. pretty good stuff. The wife had the chicken shish kebab which was also very good. Prices are reasonable and the service is good. Nice outdoor seating area in nice Palo Alto neighborhood (near California Street). Only drawback is that they serve alcohol.
The kabobs were pretty good. The falafael was a bit undersone and hummus tasted old. Service is good. We felt a bit uncomfortable because of the Israelis (a couple of tables) that were staring at us (wife is muhajaba). I also took a star off because of the prominately displayed booze.
