This is a bit of a story. I grew up in Rainham. My late mum and dad were regulars to the Maharani most weeks in the 80s and 90s. We always joined them and they knew the owners well. Fast forward to now. We live in Florida but our family are still local. Last night we ordered a take out. Living in Florida we are always striving for a decent curry. Previous visits to England have always involved a curry but we have never found a good one. Well now we have. We saw the Maharani was still there and took a chance. It was positively the best curry we have had in years. Delicious does not come close. Melt in the mouth chicken, flavours to die for. My dad would have been 90 this sunday and I know he would have loved it too!!!! Thank you!! We will be back!
