Venus

The food is good. But I stopped eating here because I don't trust that the meat is halal. This is run by Coptic Christians. It's run by a brother and sister. The brother, jack, is very nice. His sister is not friendly or accommodating. I would avoid this place if you are particular about zabiha meat. If you're not picky, then I'm sure you'll enjoy the chicken shawarma or kefta wrap.

Have been to Venus for at least three times, and I recommend it. OK, it is not like a five-star restaurant, but neither are the prices! The place is nice, BTW.

This is not a halal restaurant. I asked a worker there and she told me the meat wasn't halal. I did eat the fries that were loaded with cheese and that was good. But I didn't touch the meat. I was happy for the honesty alhamdillah:)

I have been to Venus a few times and each time the food has been decent. Is it the best Med/Mid Eastern food in Bflo. This is debatable but there is not much else and some of the others are very questionable? The service is good on a good day and the food is good on a good day. The sandwiches are better than the platters. Its not the quickest place to get served and many times ran out of specific things.

Great place, definitely halal, moderately good service and a clean environment. Definitely recommended !

Had an amazing experience was really impressed with the manager there. It was sadly his last day. However the GYROS platter was amazing. He did get a bit late in making it, so he gave us additional Dish as a token of appology. We absolutely loved his attitude, and places like Zaiqa need to learn from VENUS how to treat their clients. Way to go Venus, we would love to eat only at your place for the rest of our stay here. :) Thanks for the great food and hope you guys go a long way !

I was in town for an interview so I decided to stop here. I got the Philly sub and the wings with their very own hot sauce. Both were delicious. If you like hot wings make sure you try theirs with the house hot sauce.

Pretty good food. Loved the philly cheese steak, wings and shawarma. Clean restroom and friendly employees. The only down side I would say is that the food takes long to get to the table.

This place has changed ownership. The new name is Venus. It's run by Egyptians not muslim ,Coptic Christians I think. The manager assured that they serve Zabiha Halal meat n gave me the name Of his supplier. The food was not bad n the place was clean.

Good portions and good price customer service is good, food takes time to make but good, suprosingly the Philly cheese steak is good at this predominately chicken place

We were looking for halal restaurants before travelling to NY and found this on Zabihah.com. The place was cozy and clean, owner was friendly and the price was incredibly cheap. Clean restroom. Big meal portions was served. Areas for improvement: It'll be good if the chicken is served fresh and while it's very hot. The chicken portions were a bit too big. If it's being cut a little bit smaller then it'll be more appetizing.
