This place is on point! Must try! All halal and modern, fun, inclusive environment for all faiths and cultures. Kitchen and bathroom are immaculate. Food was amazing. Had the kabob sandwich with yogurt and veggies inside. They have a full tea, coffee, and smoothie bar.

I love this little cafe! They project Rumi quotes on flat-screen TVs around the cafe. I went here some time in the last 6 months while in the area. I don´t remember exactly what I ordered, but I remember it was finger-licking delicious with great fries as well.

The good: They serve Halal meat; parking lot is spacious. The bad: food is not fresh (it appears food is cooked in a microwave or quick heat oven); seating is limited; attitude of the hispanic worker at the register is HORRIBLE. On top of that, the self-service area where they keep utensils, sauces, and cold water was not refilled and we had to keep going up to the counter and be subjected to the continued, horrible, and sarcastic, attitude and demeanor of the lady working the counter. I asked If I could get some ice and she totally rolled her eyes at me in disgust like I committed an immoral act. Really? Is that the reaction you're going to give a customer asking for a glass of ice, might I add, because YOU didn't refill the ice water on the self-service table? The woman making the sandwiches in the back, however, was much nicer and courteous. It is because of her smile I give this place 2 stars instead of 1. The gyro pita sandwich is less than average. I've had gyros all around the world. This would be in the bottom 1%. Meat was scarce, it was dry, and because it was cooked in a microwave oven, it tasted rubbery. It would taste better if the sandwich was fresh, or cooked on a stove top rather than in an easy-bake oven. To the owner of Rumi: Please hire staff that are patient, calm, and pleasant, otherwise your customer base may begin to dwindle. Based on my personal experience today, I cannot recommend Rumi Cafe, for I feel it lacks both in service and quality.

Small selection and old tasting ingredients. I did not have a good experience at Cafe Rumi. It seems like their bread is stale. The food is just OK. I would much rather eat at home. I have not tried their drinks

A very cute place to eat. I had the lamb gyro with some fries. The place is very cleand the the gentleman preparing as well as the lady at the register were very nice. There are quite a few things on the menu that look wonderful...next time I'll try a chicken something...

I like the decor. We ordered the saffron chicken with rice and it was good. Tasted a bit like chicken tikka masala without chillies. I wasn't blown away by the flourless chocolate cake. It was good, but it didn't rock my world. This place is far and hard to get to, which made the whole experience a bit less pleasant.

The gyro was huge, I love religious establishments, and this is one of them. Prices on the high side if you are looking to take your entire family. Great for a girls day out with no children, place is very, very small. LOVELY
