In 1989, Mr Ali Engin launched the first Origin Kebab (OK) shop in Hyperdome Shopping Center, Loganholme Queensland. Queenslanders had not yet seen nor heard of a kebab. After a fierce sampling exercise, Queenslanders embraced Origins Kebabs. It was a roaring success. To this day Origin at Hyperdome, is recognised as one of the most successful kebab retail shops in the country. Within 3 years Origin Kebab was operating in 4 locations between the Gold Coast and Brisbane.

GoogleThe chips and onion rings were cooked fresh and they are delicious! Crispy outside, and soft in the middle. Origin service is always excellent and I've always enjoyed the food. Nihnai was attentive and helpful.
