Queenslanders had not yet seen nor heard of a kebab. After a fierce sampling exercise, Queenslanders embraced Origins Kebabs. It was a roaring success. To this day Origin at Hyperdome, is recognised as one of the most successful kebab retail shops in the country. Within 3 years Origin Kebab was operating in 4 locations between the Gold Coast and Brisbane.

There are 2 outlets at Pacific Fair. One is on the 2nd flr of the mall and another at a wing with the cinema. This wing offers free wifi while u dine. Kebab with Coke costed AUD$9
Ok, not exactly a review here. I keyed in the above address into the GPS and ended up in front of somebody's house. No joke. The same thing happened when I keyed in the other address for Origin Kebabs: 69 Surfers Avenue, Mermaid Waters, QLD 4218 Both Origin kebabs. But I discover one of their (real?) branch at the 2nd storey of Pacific Fair Shopping Mall.
Visiting from VIC, the lamb kebab and HSP are the best I’ve eaten! Kebab was slightly crispy on the outside, fresh from the carrots and lettuce and juicy from the meat. HSP had a generous portion of meat, well sauced with a nice layer of cheese on crispy fries. Service was very pleasant and friendly. Would come back because the food and service do not reflect the reviews here on Google.
