Pizza was OK. Philly cheesesteak was nothing special. I didn't like the fat sandwiches either.

- This place is Halal, good for me - Fast - The Burgers are good - The Pizza is OK - If you are in the area with your family you can sit here with them for a quick bite. - Better than most Halal places around

While on a road trip to play the Yankees, we stopped here to eat lunch. Its a carry out place with a fairly nice sitting area. Food was OK, but I didn't have super high expectations. But I would come back if I wanted some basic american food.

Wonderful food and great variety. My husband has been going here for years ever since his rutgers days. Their shawarma is really good and so are the cheesesteaks. Bathrooms are also clean.

Positive: Good quality cheese steaks and fat sandwiches in a great location unbeaten by surrounding "halal" restaurants in downtown New Brunswick and Somerset. Negative: There is nothing exceptional for which I would drive here over and over again unless if I went to school/work in the area. Overall: Good quality food that you can't beat when going to Rutgers University or visiting New Brunswick.

They once made me THE BEST chicken calzone I have ever had when they were located over on Commercial Ave. (Douglass Campus). Sadly, I have since tried their chicken calzone 3 times (even at the new location) but the success was never repeated. On the flip side, they have a HUGE menu and their hot sandwiches taste really good! The new location has a lot of seating but limited parking because it is in downtown NB. Chicken parmesan with pasta was bland but its sandwich is good. Roast beef sandwich was good too. Overall, not very impressed but not dejected either. I would go again if I found decent parking or if I was walking.

I make sure to drop by this Halal Fast Food joint whenever I am in Town. The quality of the Philly Cheesesteak has gone down the past couple of years, but it's still a great sandwich. YOu won't get this any where outside the East Coast.

I love this place. Food is very good. Environment is very clean and attractive. Portions are generous. Child friendly. The staff is very friendly and always remembers us. The menu is huge, and everything I've tried is good. I especially recommend the Buffalo Wings.

The space is dressed up nice, but the food itself is really not all that good. I've eaten there 20-30 times and I've never said to myself - there's a good meal.

This is the Douglass Pizza which has had its quality gone down a tremendous amount...I was a loyal customer of theres for over a decade...when they were on commercial ave next to douglass mart those were their glory days...since then each location move they made, their quality has gone down...The Douglass in somerset is a lot better...this one on george street really needs improvement...

Great food. I have never had a complaint about this place. Try one of their sandwiches. Go for a whole(16 inches) Italian Cheesesteak. Friendly staff. Place is always buzzing with Rutgers students. There is an attached city parking deck. Douglas will stamp your tickets so it is free parking.
