Persis Indian Grill

I'm sorry to say that this is NOT a Halal NOR a Pakistani restaurant. The restaurant is owned by indian Punjabi family they are really nice , but the food is NOT Halal. They also sell liquor along with food. I was told by the owner that they buy their meat from Restaurant Depot NOT HALAL.

The lady didn't know what "halal" was and had to ask the chef. She verified it. However, this is a Hindu owned place. To be safe, I only ate the vegetables. The food was average and later my body had a bad reaction ... not food poisoning but perhaps some allergic reaction .. not sure what they use in their food.

Excellent Place. Great food and presentation. Very friendly owner. We had great time. Spacious and comfortable dinning area, you hardly find such in asian resturants.

I had a great experience here. The food was good and truly authentic Pakistani cuisine. And real-desi-spicy (if u request it that way of course). Lamb nihari was very tasty and so was the biryani. Samosas were mouth-watering & mango lassi was really satisfying. The owner is incredibly personable, has excellent manners, well-respected in the Muslim community, and is very interesting to talk with. The service was amazing and this is the only Pakistani restaurant in St. Charles County.
