Aishah's Chinese Halal

This is a standard Chinese-American takeout joint. They have a large menu, including lunch and combo specials. We ordered chicken dumplings, spring rolls, chicken mei fun, and shredded chicken with General Tso\'s sauce. The spring rolls were perfectly crispy and flaky, with a basic cabbage filling. The dumplings were decent and came with a tasty, slightly spicy soy dipping sauce. The mei fun was heavy on the noodles and could have used more chicken and vegetables, but the portion was very generous. The chicken with General Tso\'s sauce was different from regular General Tso\'s chicken in that the chicken was shredded and not breaded and fried, which was a nice change. Service was quick and friendly, and the prices were reasonable.

This place opened in Sept 2017. Stopped by here on my way out of the airport. Menu clearly states \"Chinese halal\" as well as other signs posted in the restaurant itself. Small area if you want to dine in and would recommend that you carry out. Street parking can be a bit tight during rush hour times. The menu is very extensive (over 150 dishes listed) and everything on the menu is halal. They have all the authentic and traditional Chinese dishes such as fried rice, egg foo young, chow mei fun, chop suey, beef rib tips, and kung pao chicken, etc. They also have other items such as Italian subs and hamburgers. Food was overall delicious. It is authentic Chinese food and everything was prepared fresh. Would definitely return.
