I was at Sainsbury’s checking out and I was a witness to the most unprofessional and disgusting behaviour by an older member of staff, not sure if she was management. There was a lady struggling with 3 young children and unfortunately one of them slipped from the pushchair and hurt her head. From overhearing, I think she did communicate to her mother that she was trying to come out of the pushchair to warn her. The older member of staff proceeded to scream at this lady to which everyone stopped and stared at the situation. I understand the concern from the staff member for ensuring the child’s safety but under no circumstance should she be allowed to yell and shout at a customer who is visibly struggling with three young children. Accidents do happen and there is 0 justification to her behaviour. Absolutely disgusting - I advise any management reading this to find out who the staff member was exactly and speak to her about her behaviour towards customers. Revolting. This happened at around 9:50-10 pm on Thursday 14 May.
