Authorized halal by an Islamic organization.. Per April 10, 2011 GBK website, the chicken used for burgers is Halal and is cooked in 100% rapeseed oil in a fryer specified for chicken only, however the grilled chicken used for salads and kebobs are cooked on the same grill as the bacon. The beef, lamb, and venison are not Halal. GBK does not offer halal Grilled Chicken as an option.

Gourmet Burger Kitchen is a trendy burger bar and I was surprised it had a halal breaded chicken option. I checked and re-checked with staff and management that the chicken was halal and they had a certificate. *Only the panko crumbed chicken is halal* We order the Camembert and Cranberry Chicken and then Pesterella Chicken. Both were delicious. We also ordered thick chips, perfect. For the chips and 2 burgers it cost £21

This place was awesome. They had really good burgers, the portions were large and the prices weren't too bad either. Service was really good as well.
