Per April 10, 2011 GBK website, the chicken used for burgers is Halal and is cooked in 100% rapeseed oil in a fryer specified for chicken only, however the grilled chicken used for salads and kebobs are cooked on the same grill as the bacon. The beef, lamb, and venison are not Halal. GBK does not offer halal Grilled Chicken as an option.

GoogleUnfortunately, this was a disappointing experience. We were really excited to try this place based on the menu, but the portion sizes were incredibly small for the price. We genuinely couldn't believe how much we'd paid for the amount of food we received. To make matters worse, the food took around 20 minutes to come out despite the restaurant being virtually empty at the time. The service itself was fine and the staff were polite enough, but that wasn't enough to make up for the poor value. The biggest issue was that we left still hungry. In fact, we ended up going to a kebab shop afterwards because the meal simply wasn't filling. Overall, the food wasn't worth the price, and unfortunately I wouldn't recommend it based on our experience.
