This place is no longer a South Asian grocery store. It is now MidEast grocery plus halal meat store. I go there now to get halal meat.

Went here after a while and was disappointed to see the sit-in restaurant no longer there. However, got some take-out biryani and kebabs which were EXCELLENT! The owner then notified me that they are made at their restaurant which has moved downtown to Harrisburg by the name of Sindbaad, Looking forward to giving that a try!

Was passing through traveling from Pennsulvania to North Carolina and found this place on Zabihah.com. I'm glad I did. They were extremely nice and the food was very very good! And the price was also very reasonable. I took mine to go so I could get back on the road, but they do have an area that you can sit and eat if you like.

We wanted to eat at a halal establishment during our visit to Hershey Park. Since it is a restaurant/grocery store, I was not expecting much in terms of quality but I was pleasantly surprised. I am really glad we picked this place. Price was around $9 for buffet. Kids were half price. They even stayed open till much later to accommodate us which was sooooo thoughtful! The food was also very good (haleem, kaleji, palak gosht, chicken karhai, chicken jalfrezi, bhigaray baingan, channa masala, naan, boiled white rice, sewiyan and zarda. Note: the consistency of the gravy was thin/watery which we personally prefer, but others may not). The owner was very nice and friendly and didn't get upset even though our toddlers spilled some water/food around the table. If you want a clean environment and a home cooked taste, I highly recommend this place. I will definitely eat here again.

I alongwith my colleagues from Turkey, Malaysia, Jordan, Saudi Arabia & Iraq were in the city for 2 days. Looking for some nice & clean place to eat. The unanimous decision was to have pakistani food. The food is delicious and tasty, place is clean and the service was friendly.

We were visiting the Hershey Park and craving for some desi food, we were lucky that this restuarant started serving buffet just two day ago on the fathers day. We reached there at 8 and they were almost closed. The owners are real nice, they offered yes all items from menu as well as meat dishes served on the table. Our menu included chicken kebobs, kebob masala, chicken karahi, chicken korma, biryani, saag, mixed vege, daal, pakora karhi, etc and bottled water. Deserts were gulab jamun and sawainyan. All items were well prepared and just like home cooked with real spices (not Shan masala). If you are visiting Hershey, i highly recommend coming to GMI for a nice meal.
