Hashmi Barbecue Centre

I have visited Hashmi's at least once a month for the past two years and it is by far my favorite restaurant in Nairobi. After the Ukay plaza was demolished, Hashmi's relocated to Diamond Plaza II in Parklands. The menu is limited to grilled/tandoor items. They do not serve dishes such as biriyani, rice, currys or dosas like the other Indian/Pakistani restaurants. You can specify how hot/spicy you want the dishes except for the chicken/meat kababs which are only served as 'medium' (which my kids find hot!). I would give five stars to pretty much every dish here with the exception of poussin chicken and chops. After your meal make sure to check out their falooda.

This is the best Indian restaurant in Kenya! The food is so fresh and delicious! I could eat here every day. I love their barbecue items. You cannot visit kenya and not go here! Ambience is nice, lots of seating and parking and is in a safe area. Not a super cheap place but for the quality of the food, it's reasonably priced. I've never gotten sick after eating here. Owners are know Muslims and all the locals also love this place!
