Very small store, for fast middle eastern food. Good seasoned chicken and rice with sauce, good sandwiches, would come back for quick meal on the go.
I stumbled upon Lulu’s Canadian Style Shawarma completely by accident and it turned out to be one of the best food discoveries I’ve made in a long time. From the moment I walked in, the owner stood out right away genuinely warm, friendly, and welcoming. He took the time to chat and personally recommended the chicken and rice, which honestly made the whole experience feel more personal and memorable. That kind of hospitality goes a long way, and it really elevated the visit. I’m glad I trusted his recommendation because this dish easily ranks in my top five chicken and rice meals of all time and that’s saying a lot. What sets this place apart is that it’s not your typical chicken and rice. The rice itself is incredibly flavourful, not just a base but a standout component of the dish. The caramelized onions add a rich, slightly sweet depth that brings everything together perfectly. The chicken is just as impressive perfectly seasoned, juicy, tender, and cooked to perfection. You can tell there’s real care behind both the food and the customer experience here. It’s the kind of place you randomly discover once but keep coming back to. Highly recommend great food, even better people. This spot deserves way more attention.
