extremely bad experience. ordered chicken koobedeih, received stale salad and few piece of chicken kabob. contacted the manager and he behaved extremely bad saying he did not have the ordered item and it is their restaurant policy to replace anythign they want if they do not have the item.\r\nalso he suggested he does not care if we do not order from him

The food was decent, but nothing above average. Nice staff, plenty of seating. Our waitress pointed out on the menu which was not halal.

Salam, Persian food (may be Iranian). Been to this place twice. 1) Halal Asked if meat is halal, was told all meat item is Halal except #21 dish that made out of beef. When asked why other beef items are halal and not this one... No convincing answer. 2) Food Food was fresh. Had two different chicken items and both taste same. Bread was hard to chew in few minutes. 3) Place and service Both times took food out and did not eat there as alcohol is being served. First time attendant was kind of less considerate when responding to halal question. This is one of those place that don't care about halal customers. Interestingly restaurant is right in front of Islamic center of Rancho Cordoba BOTTOM LINE: Halal should be verified when visit Alcohol is served Food quality is good I will keep this place as my last option when in town. Wassalaam

Assalamu Alaikum, I am a bit harsh when it comes to having quality food; but I got to say the food at this place is good. Good service, atmosphere and most important of all good food. The meat is verbally confirmed to be zabihah. I had the Adana kabob(ground beef), and the overall quantity is also above average. I would go back to try other stuff on the menu.

I love this place and the food is really good. A bit pricey, but then, i guess it is still okay considering the cleanliness and the ambience of the restaurant. The toilet is clean too. Service is good as well. I would really recommend this place. :) My last update was in 2010. Ever since, i have been returning to this place like EVERY WEEK! It is that good! Recommended menu: 1. Lamb shank - it comes with rice. So, usually, what i will do is, for additional $2, i ask for half rice and half green salad. They have 2 types of salad, so make sure you ask for GREEN salad. It's good! 2. Usually for my daughter, we get for her chicken kabob. It's delish too. :) 3. Try their Persian Hot tea. It is refill-able and super good. 4. They are known for Persian Ice Cream too. So, try it.

Been a customer for a long time and always enjoyed the food but lately the prices have risen quite a bit. Good food overall

I definitely enjoy there rice and kabob dishes. Some of the other dishes are okay but the rice/kabobs are certainly the best. Pricey esp for dinner but the portions are big so you get more food for your money.

Food is excellent. They serve alcohol so I felt a little uncomfortable when they said the food was halal. I would verify again before visiting. Nice atmosphere!

We went during the lunch hour and the food was good as well as ample quantity. They did mess up our order and the server also served the dishes to the wrong people. Since my group were not aware of the cuisine, they realized it after they started eating it. I would still recommend this place.
