East Park Chippy

East Park chippy used to be the best place around before all the chicken and pizza places start popping up. But palates/tastes have changed, new foods have entered the market and EPC are stuck in the 90s...they've not changed the decor for ages which makes it look very dated, especially next to the competition on the same road. Still, portion sizes are good price-wise. Although they've reduced the amount of chili sauce they put on...and charge you extra (20 pence!) to get what you used to. Doner in pita is alright (the "meat" is cut into smaller bits than usual so you get more). Pro tip: ask for no salad (or have it separate) - and they put more "meat" in! There are better (far less greasy) doners out there though. Hot Dogs are greasy, processed and most importantly cheap. Staff are kinda grumpy most of the time and one of them looks like Tackleberry from Police Academy. 3/5

Very run down. But they have decent burgers & nice chips. Would want to only take out.

Cheap place for not so good fast food, the chips used to be the best but no more. Kind of run down compared to other places on the street.

ok but fish is over battered.

been here a few years ago nice food again the fish is densly battred

not so nice fish, chips are ok , not very good quality overall
