The food here is overpriced for the small amount that we get. We were disappointed really.

Food is horrible. Chicken looked like cat legs (it might have been). Don't waste your money, it's expensive and bad quality. I've had Turkish food and usually it's amazing. Go to turquaz (menshawee) for the best spot in Edmonton.

I took my wife and two children to Istanbul restaurant, we have driven by it a million times, i decided what the heck lets take them. We were very impressed with the ambience of this cozy little restaurant. My wife had lamb chop and i got the steak and shrimp. The food was pretty on point. We are not turkish, but the food tasted very middle eastern, excellent bulgar, and i hate bulgar, but this bulgar medley was great. The salad was excellent, the steak was pretty good, my wifes lamb chops were superb. I spoke with the owner who assured me the food was all halal. I was disappointed to see that they served wine and beer. food was about $70, we got two courses, and a kids meal for my son. My wife got desert and i had turkish coffee. The portions of food were very fair. We really enjoyed our meal, with the exception of the liquor this place is brilliant, food is great. We are arab and if this is how all turkish food is like we will definitely be trying more turkish food. Well done, please lose the alcohol.

Fantastic Food! The atmosphere was cozy and very comfortable. The service was excellent. The food was absolutely worth every penny! These guys know how to do steak! We will definitely be going back again and again.

Amazing food. The owner is supernice. The platter for 2 is more than enough for 2 people and believe me worth it. Turkish people make the best chicken, beef, kafta kebobs period!

i went here on recommendation from a friend, the food is good, owner is very friendly but its slightly on the expensive side. The "platter for two" ran me about 50 bucks

The same quiet and relaxing atmosphere at the new Tysons Mall location. Great menu and healthy too, I enjoy their golden horn soup on a light day or their platter meal options when need something more filling. Also great drinks, pastries (savory & sweet) and deserts—the rice pudding so good. A mall store employee—a favorite go too!

the food was amazing and the staff were so friendly, warm, and kind! they had great suggestions for what to order and even gave us tea on the house. we ordered the beef pie, beef platter, turkish coffee, and mocha - all were so good. would absolutely recommend this place!

This isn't what you normally think of when you hear "mall food." This is high-quality Turkish food. It's a small, woman-owned business. Every time I've been in, I've seen the owner working. Lunch, dinner, open seven days a week. I don't know how she does it. The best way to go is building a platter. You move down the row and select what you'd like in it. The staff is more than willing to explain the different foods. I've tried a few different platter combos over my trips here, and they've all been good. I don't think you can make a bad choice. There are vegetarian and meat options, making it very flexible. There are comfortable chairs along the wall if you just want to get a tea or dessert and lounge. There are many loose leaf teas to choose from, brewed to order. The price tag here is a little higher than Auntie Anne's or whatever else is in the mall, but the quality doesn't even compare. Do yourself a favor and come here.
