I agree with the rest of the positive comments! I love Balady Halal foods, they have everything I could ever possibly need to cook a delicious and healthy meal. I've also noticed that they are constantly updating their products - just the other day I saw a new stack of COCONUT OIL! Somebody there is doing their research.... The coconut oil is top quality. 100% Pure, Extra-Virgin, Unrefined, Organic, Cold-Pressed Coconut Oil. I'm impressed!

to be very frank, balady halal market is the best halal middle eastern store i have ever visited. its very clean, organized, the cheapest prices, the best sales, the frehest meat and freindly people. anyway i was able to purchase the gallon of extra virgin olive oil at $11.49, thats a price i will never find anywhere else. move over wal-mart.

This is a predominantly Egyptian product store although they do have a small variety of hard to find moroccan couscous (al belboula etc) made out of barley among other things. Their meat is a little more expensive than the surrounding are, but it is fresh and conveniently packaged. I do not prefer to shop here but know a lot of families who love Balady. They do have cheaper smeeda(semolina flour) and other bulk items you can bag yourself that surrounding store do not have. Worth a look and see if the store suits your needs.
