Best Desi Bazaar

Best desi Bazaar should be the standard in Halal meat stores. This place is extremely clean, they have TONS of items, they serve you in an extremely, professional, competent and courteous manner and their prices are extremely reasonable. I only noticed this store and its huge "Halal Meat" neon sign when I was at a gas station across the street. We decided to go in and only get a few items. Let's just say, a few minutes in, we decided to make this our regular store and ended up buying groceries and meat for the entire month of Ramadan (as opposed to getting one or two items until we ran out). This place is a solid 30 minute drive from DC, but I will still come here once a month. The brother and his wife that own the store are both from Nepal. They speak full Urdu and are extremely accommodating. The quality of meat was fantastic and they go through great lengths to ensure we get what we want (e.g., cutting meat to exact specifications). I was also very pleased with their reasonable pricing. I bought 3X as much stuff from Best Desi Bazaar as I did from a local meat shop in Arlington a few weeks ago (which I will not name here), and only paid a fraction of the price.....for way better stuff! Insha-Allah, I will return. I highly recommend this place.
