The place is closed down, the VN signboard is moved to 2nd floor, I'm not sure if it's shut down for renovation. but there is plenty of halal malaysian food on the street behind this restaurant.

Our last full meal (lunch) at HCMC last week. Food was good (rice menu). Saw the 'Jalan2 Cari Makan' framed cert - so it must have had some reputation. Near Ben Thanh market, so it's a good location.

It is near and behind Ben Thanh Market, along the main major road, the food and the condition is acceptable, they can speak malay, we went to have dinner there.

This restaurant is located near Ben Thant Market. It is a nice place that even plays Malay Songs as background. The staffs are friendly and can speak Malay well. We tried fish curry, chicken curry, fish sweet sour and roti canai that tasted so yummy and delicious. The price is reasonable as compared to others and we noticed it can also take Ringgit Malaysia. It is a bit crowded at meal time but the service is good. For the remaining stay at HCM City we have our meals at this restaurant. Recommend for you to visit too!

1. 2 minutes walk to Ben Thanh. 2. Food relatively cheaper here than at the Halal Restaurants near the Saigon Mosque. 3.Very friendly staff - charged only 7,000 dong for plain rice to take away(to be consumed in the hotel room with the canned dishes). 4. Accepts Malaysian currency, serves also Malaysian dishes, and workers can also speak Malay.
