Description
Altanoor Cafe Restaurant in Tenerife is the only place in the Canary Islands that is 100% Halal and makes Mediterranean sweets like baklava. Altanoor is a small family run restaurant cafe. Our name 'Altanoor' is derived from the Arabic word Tanoor which means clay oven where traditionally bread is baked. Since almost every small restaurant in Tenerife purchase the bread and freeze it for later use, and because food always taste best when it is cooked on real fire, We therefore decided to be something else by making food and sweets identical to that which is made in Lebanon.
