Food is delicious but very expensive. Staff is nice and restaurant is clean with enough sitting area.
Great food. Very clean. Best halal food place in this area.
Expensive, authentic, but overpriced. Instead of loading up your plate with rice for the $22+ you are paying they could add a fresh nutritious salad instead.
Great place, very nice staff, the food is great.
Went there the other day and I was not dissapointed. The owner is a very down to earth and friendly guy. I told him I was from out of town and he became much more open and friendly than he already was. I tried the juje koobideh which was made pretty good. I also got a few samples from him. Overall, was happy and will return whenever I am back down in the area
Got take out from here. Koobideh was pretty good. Lamb was a little underdone but not bad. Chicken was great. Excellent must-o- kiar (yogurt with cucumber). Clean, spotless store with very friendly staff. Will definitely go back.
I have been to this restaurant about 3 or 4 times and I think that the food is very good! I'm not sure how much of this is due to the quality of the meat and how much of it is a product of their own effort in the kitchen, but either way, the finished product is great. However, I do feel that they are a little bit pricey. Furthermore, the menu is somewhat limited to Kabobs and only a few other dishes. Regardless, it is a place worth visiting.
I like how they state very clearly that the food is Halal on the menu, this is not that common in this area as the Muslims are not in huge numbers. Having said that the food was average, but since Philly is lacking Halal Persian restaurants people are inclined to think its good.
Mashallah, this place is a regular stop for my family. The meat is very tender. I love the kubideh and the barg. The meat they use is excellent quality. Recently, I went to a highly reviewed Iranian restaurant in DC, and I kept thinking how much better the food at Kabab Cafe was. The people who work there are very friendly. The restaurant is clean an inviting.
