This is a tough one to review. Firstly, this is not the cleanest restaurants but nor is it too bad that you won\'t be able to have a good time. Secondly, their minced meat related dishes chicken/beef seekh kebab or beef chapli kebabs are really bad and I won\'t recommend them to anyone. Their butter chicken is also very watery and bland. Everything else I\'ve tried is really decent. All the grilled chicken dishes are really good and their grilled fish is a must have for the health conscious people out there. Their boneless chicken karahi and grilled wings are really good too. Their service is good when the restaurant is not too busy. Overall, I\'d like to give it 3.5 stars but will give 4 just because downtown Toronto really lacks the type of food they serve. If you frequent this restaurant and have a certain preferance, they\'d remember your usual order and even remember your \"no salad\" or \"replace tomato salad with onions\" type demands :) If you are in downtown Toronto and craving some good grilled chicken, definitely try this at least once.

Food tasted just okay. If you are hungry and nothing else is open then it may do. Otherwise, there are better places around. Save your money. The service isn't that great either.

this restaurant doesnt seem to be run by afghanis. The food is therefore not exactly what you are used to when it comes to afghani food.

Tried this place for the first time because I read the reviews here and thought the food would be good. I eat out a lot so I can compare well. Kabul express, well where can I start.... Their seating area wasn't too appealing. The food did not taste good, I wouldn't even consider it afghan food because I have had afghan food much better than that. There wasn't much difference between the regular brown rice that they were serving and the kabuli rice which they were charging $4 for...for what? the difference between the 2 rice was .. the kabuli rice had some pistachios, raisins and carrot on it and smelled of oil very sad. And the kebab were not cooked properly. the naan was hard and the roll we had was bland. Prices were alright...but food...we were very dissatisfied by the food and the service well...there are not comments on that!

Tried the place for the fits time, the food was very good, especially the Naan bread that is fresh off the pot, very good location close to the Eaton center a nice halal addition for the Yonge & Dundas area
