Food is great most of the times but a compared to the Usman at Lil India, this branch is slightly more expensive. You rather drive 10 more min and go to the dhaba style Usman and save lots of money. i also feel that the Usman at Little India has better tasting food than the one at Arab St (Usman's Place) Must try : sizzling platters, nihari and various types of naan. Ps this is also the first Pakistani restaurant in Singapore.
must eat pakistani restaurant. I was in Singapore for over 1 year and frequently visited this place. Everything is good especially their daal. Also tried their nehari, handi-gosht and chapli kebabs (out of this world).
Just had a wonderful meal at Usman Restaurant, and I have to say it truly hit the spot. I tried the cheese naan, butter naan, and their special mutton keema. The naan was absolutely amazing, soft, light, and perfectly fluffy. You can tell it’s freshly made; I could actually see them lining up the dough near the cooking area before baking it. The mutton keema was bursting with flavour, rich and aromatic, with a generous portion that was more than enough for one sitting. I ended up ordering another chapati and naan to pack, just so I could savour the keema again later at home. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience, warm, hearty, and satisfying. Definitely a place I’d come back to for authentic, freshly made comfort food. I suggest bring your portable fan because it can quite warm here during lunch time!
