Thanks to the efforts of the Ambassador from Malaysia who is a Muslim Haji and the hotel's General Manager who is a Malaysian Chinese, the poultry and meat is certified halal. The buffet is clearly segregated between halal and non-halal areas. The buffet is great and as the owners /chef are Singaporean/Malaysian respectively, expect a lot of food from those countries. Check out the Curry Laksa, Chicken Rice, etc. The gado-gado and satay in the buffet is a must have. But expect to pay hotel prices

Breakfast buffet here is very poor. I was One of the first in (6:30am) so would have expected the freshest. But it was poor. Melon was soft and passed its best. Egg station is average. Pastries didn’t taste great (even though it was early Morning). The staff here however were great and the restaurant had a nice vibe at least. I returned the same day with. Reservation for dinner. The restaurant was half empty but they insisted I sit between 2 other existing tables so I declined to stay and left. You can get 50% of this place via the various discount And coupon schemes around. The initial price Point here is far too High.
