About Kimmel Market Place
The Kimmel Market Place is inside the NYU Kimmel Center, and opened in 2005 as a halal section within the dining hall. Often there's meat and just as often the staff is lazy and makes pasta or something else and labels it "halal." A good place to eat for convenience on campus, but sometimes it's a hit or miss in terms of selection. If that happens, you can always get a pizza or vegan item from the other stations in the dining hall.
