About Kimmel Market Place
The Kimmel Market Place is inside the NYU Kimmel Center, and opened in 2005 as a halal section within the dining hall. Halal food is offered on weekdays from 12-3pm and from 5-8pm, and the food varies on a daily basis. NYU Campus cash is also accepted at this location, as well as points on a campus meal plan. ATM available on the second floor. Please be aware that this is within a campus building, NYU or government-issued photo ID is required to enter the building.

Often there's meat and just as often the staff is lazy and makes pasta or something else and labels it "halal." A good place to eat for convenience on campus, but sometimes it's a hit or miss in terms of selection. If that happens, you can always get a pizza or vegan item from the other stations in the dining hall.
