I went to this place recently and it is under new ownership. I asked the owner if the chicken is hand slaughtered, he replied that he did not know. I asked him where he buys his chicken from and he said from Vancouver and he got offended for asking him two questions about the sources. He refused to show me or tell me the exact place where he buys his chicken from. This attitude places a big question mark ? If this new owner has nothing to hide and his products are Halal, then he should have no problem providing prove of the source for what he claims Halal.The previous owner used to go to a farm in Duncan and hand slaughter the chickens himself. I talked to many brothers at the local mosque about the owner's attitude. Few other brothers expressed the same concern. Some brothers expressed that the prices are very high and they stopped going there. If the owner does not provides proves of the source of his products and does not posts verification of the source of the product he sells, this place should not be considered Halal. Be carful of what you eat. Always verify the source.
