How certain is everyone about the halal meat considering they have non halal there as well? They seem to label it with their sticker meaning there's a chance it could be mixed up? Does it come from their own farm or catered from elsewhere? I'd really like to get their deli meats but I need assurance please.

This is a supermarket that has many Middle Eastern foods. They have a deli that has some halal deli meat (make sure you ask for halal because they have a lot of non-halal items also). There is also a place to order food and sit. I got their baked chicken wrap. It was very dry.

Food is average. Baked chicken is dry.

kabobs are nothing special. I have yet to try the chicken shawarma

I went here after they opened the new Arpi's deli. The food there is served in an a la carte / cafeteria type deal. The shwarmas are good and the food is, in general, delicious. The have a wide variety of items on the menu and I've sampled a large selection of them, and I haven't found a single one that I didn't like. The only thing that annoyed me was the alcohol being served with made me question halaal. I asked staff repeatedly about halaal, and they assured me repeatedly. In fact, when I asked someone from the back over heard me and came out and assured me. Other than that, it's a great place to sit and relax. The ambiance is great. They have a wifi and a coffee area so I've brought my laptop and sat here and worked over lunch, etc. The coffee is good too -- not my favorite, and being a coffee enthusiast, I found it funny I had to repeat my order several times for them to get it right, but it was tasty none the less. Overall, this is one of the better restaurants I've had a chance of going to in Houston. Definitely a good place to take guests or friends if you plan on going out.

Everything from the grill is halal. The place is beautifully set-up, the food is absolutely delicious, great variety to choose from, and the service is excellent.

great place to buy halal cold meats (turkey breast, roast beef, etc.) on the grocery side. the restaurant food is excellent!

I'm so pleased that we have a market like this in Houston. I only wish I'd known about it sooner (and that it weren't so far away from my home)! It's a little reminder of home when you can buy the same products you know from your home country, and for people who are just curious, it's a great, clean place to find foods and products you've never tried.

This market reminds me of Sam's Club. Everything is organized & clean. Lil bit pricy but the best of the best in everything. They also got fresh pita bread baked daily!

I love this place! You can grocery shop while also order a nice little lunch at their cafe. This market caters to everyone, and you can find all sorts of foods and items.

This is finally a place where you can find roasted chicken that is halal. I believe they also have organic farm rasied halal chicken and beef that you can buy. It's a really nice place to go grocery shopping.
