We visited Al Casbah as a group of four for dinner and had a truly wonderful experience. We booked just a few hours in advance and were luckily able to get a table. The restaurant itself is incredibly cosy, with beautiful North African decor that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. We ordered a variety of dishes each, including Tebikha (artichokes, peas, broad beans and potato tajine), cous cous royal, Salade djedj (chicken salad), and a lamb tajine. Every dish was genuinely delicious. The flavours were rich, comforting and deeply satisfying. The tebikha in particular stood out as absolutely outstanding. Portions were very generous, and there were also good vegetarian and vegan options available. Everyone at the table was very happy and left completely satisfied. The service was impeccable throughout the evening, attentive without being intrusive and very welcoming. I my opinion this is the best North African food I have had in the UK. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic, flavourful dishes in a cosy and warm atmosphere.
