Arpeggio Grill

I have heard about this restaurant a lot from my cousin so i visited it on my recent trip to Houston. The wings were awesome but the rest of the stuff was strictly average. Ordered a burger, shish Tawaook (rice were cold), chicken over rice (again the rice were cold) and Hummus (not fresh at all). Later my cousin told me that only order Pizza and the wings, so i might try their pizza next time. Service was good.

The pizza ,wings and burgers are very tasty,specially the Greek burger. The staffs are really helpful and friendly.

The food is good and clean. Also, the owner with his staff are extremely friendly.

Their wings and burger are really good! The plates are good but not amazing. Their salad's are also pretty good and their staff is extremely friendly. I would definitely recommend coming here! Also, check out the pizza!

Excellent food and service! Gyro has Authentic taste! Chicken wings were very yummy! No complains at all! Staff go out of you way to feel you comfortable and they are very friendly! We were in Austin for two days and ate there both days. Would recommend 100%

Foods great, owner's son, rude with desi/Indian/Pakistani, but when a white or any other race shows up his attitude changes. He screwed up our order, when I got to the counter and told him about it, he didn't do anything about it much less say sorry, at the same time this another customer showed up, he offered free baclava because customer who was a non desi had to wait. Seriously?

I am regular to this restaurant. I like their Wings, burger and pizza and they all worth the money. By far the best halal I have ever tasted in Austin. I will caution to pre order the food as they take 25-40 mins to serve. With regards to staff attitude, I found them to be very friendly and welcoming. I am a South Asian and never felt any disrespect from the staff.

We went here by high recommendations by friends in the area. The ambience and decor is beautiful and very clean. I really like the seating on the floor (Turkish/Moroccan style). We first enetered and my kids were really thirsty so my husband asked for a glass of water before we ordered, the young man (the owner, no less) was very rude and said: \"No, you have to wait till your server comes to your table.\" We were very dissapointed at his words and rudeness...it ruined our mood for the night. Because we were so hungry and it was getting late, we just sat and ordered our food, otherwise, we would have Definitely left! We ordered the pizza, 3 diff types of chocken wings and beef & chicken gyros and I got the mediterranean salad...because I lost my appetite:( It took 40 min for the food to come after we ordered! The food was average. I heard so much about the wings but they were just average and the pizza was really good, we ordered a large with veggie and chicken toppings. If you\'re a HUGE wing fan and if you\'re craving meat pizza, then I would recommend this place...otherwise nothing special. I would not come back, ever.

The only reason i did not give it "very poor" is because the food is not completely bad. I have had my share of frozen chicken one time but overall its not bad. Now why did i give it poor you ask ? Well the owner has a very arrogant attitude specifically towards a specific South Asian community. Several people i have known have complained about the staff. You can read previous comments. When you disrespect your customers they will not come again. I just had it last time i went and i am done with a place that shows hatred towards a certain group of customers. Not worth a dime in my book.

Garlic chicken wings is the bomb. Tangy sauce and ranch combo is just right. What made me give this review 5 stars was over the top service. Seated abruptly, complemented by friendly staff. Had a friendly conversation. Made my dining party feel very welcome. Good food, awesome service. Might try their pizza next time, kept seeing large pizza orders go out the door:)

WOW! I really dont understand the mixed reviews. Went here while visiting Austin and this place was AMAZING! I was born and raised in NJ/NY which has spoiled me in the sense that we have always had REALLY AMAZING HALAL FOOD OPTIONS! The wings(mild and also BBQ) reminded me of my favorite place in NJ (pizza time) and the mixed grill platter here was also above and beyond. The service here was EXCELLENT and this was on superbowl sunday so there were a lot of tables where friends were hanging out just chatting and watching the game. They looked very busy with TO GO orders yet still gave us their utmost attention and also offered us there green chutney(spicy) and garlic sauce which were both great alhmd! The baklava was incredibly moist and buttery, just the perfect combination with out green tea! I loved the atmosphere! I wish we had ordered pizza which also looked amazing and they have a pepperoni option(beef) which i always look for but rarely find out west! JUST EXCELLENT! Maybe they have read reviews and are better now service wise or some people are just bitter, who knows but they were definitely outstanding during our visit. I would be here all the time if i lived here!

I always enjoy going to Arpeggio Grill. I've always felt the service to be top-notch. The place is children-friendly, but keep in mind that it is a RESTAURANT, not a play place (i.e. Chuck-E-Cheese, Gattiland, Austin's Park, etc.). The food is MADE TO ORDER and there is usually a crowd, so that is why it takes some time to get your meal. But nonetheless, I feel it's worth the wait. From the Mesa Platter to the thirty inch pizzas, to the shawerma and chicken wings; you name it, and you're in for a treat. The entire menu is Zabiha Halal, contrary to the detractors who claim to have sources and seem to have a personal vendetta against the place. Anyhow, Arpeggio Grill has been around for years, and if you try it, you will enjoy yourself.

Excellent food. Honey BBQ wings were delicious. We also ordered the garlic chicken pizza which was also amazing. Delicious food, good prices. Also Idk what these people are talking about saying the service is horrible and the waiters are rude. Our waiter was super friendly, talked to us about stuff, took our picture, etc. He was a great guy mashaAllah. Would def come here again!

First of all the claim of being halal meat at this place is false. I have confirmed several times by different sources that the meat served is not halal by any standards. On top of that is the horrendous customer service and delays for each order and then the attitude of the servers like they are extremely arrogant....and RUDE....also, it is listed as "child friendly premises" but children are NOT at all welcome as someone put it here as well. I cannot ever recommend this place to anyone. Please mark this place as not halal regardless of their poor service and quality.

Wow where do I begin? It's sad that I'm writing this review on a Friday night and it didn't even involve my own party but because I witnessed such disrespect and disregard towards their PAYING patrons, that I had to make others aware. I was present after the UT graduation and there was a large party that came in and they could not be accommodated all at one table and the owner, Peter, was extremely rude to the woman who were merely sitting at another table since the other one could not fit their entire party. He refused to allow them to have two tables and how do I know all the details you ask? Because he didn't have enough sense to speak in a reasonable tone so that the other patrons didn't hear him. I have been eating at this restaurant for a while and many say the food is good but I personally don't care what the food tastes like if the customers are treated so poorly. After reading the other very poor reviews on this restaurant, I can see that this clearly is not an isolated incident and so WILL NOT BE RESTURNING HERE NOR WILL I BE REFERRING ANYONE HERE. If the women who were there today, ever read this review, I want you to know that you all conducted yourself very well and with a great deal of patience. Well done. To Peter, you should be ashamed of yourself as should your staff.

I had to update my review after my recent experience going here. I ordered a gyro plate to go...I came home to see that all was in my box was pieces of gryo and salad. No rice. This places gets worse everytime. The only reason I go, is to take friends who are visiting from out of town for some zabihah food. Staff is EXTREMELY slow. Takes about 40 minutes for food to come on a GOOD day. I have heard of bad customer service, but never had any experience myself. They have gotten a little weak recently. The gyros don't have as much meat as they use to, which was the deal breaker for me. The only thing that is good here is the pizza.

Every time we've been here, we have been treated with utmost respect. All items on the menu are zabihah. For everyone who complains about how long it takes for the food to come out, it's unfair to complain if the restaurant has place cards on tables warning you that it will be a while. Solution is to call ahead orders like my husband and I do - we never have to wait this way. Good food, even better prices. We've been regulars here for over two years now and will definitely keep coming back.

chicken wings. pizza. mediterranean food. all excellent. occasional delays in their service, but ambience has improved. In recent times they have been more accomodating to families with children.

we have been here several times for their good food but each time their service was really bad. It doesnt matter how good the food is when you cant respect your customers. they were really rude and insulted us in front of other customers. they treat the non muslims with so much respect and greet them and take them to their seats and everything but with muslims they treat them with so much disrespect ( completely opposite of sunnah). They were treating us like we were eating there for free.I am never coming back here and wouldnt recommend anyone either.

This was our first time here and we had an excellent experience. The service was great, the wings were so yummy, and we were astounded by the pizza. The bread and crust were so good, such good quality. The honey barbecue wings were best but the lemon pepper was also good. The pizza we ordered was the garlic chicken but we ordered it with white sauce which I think made all the difference. We also ordered the arpeggio pizza which was ok. Overall great experience, definitely coming again. We ordered ahead so didn't have to wait for food.

i have to say that their customer service has been getting bad rather than better. The owner and Sam (waiter) misbehaved with us on our recent trip.When i complained to the owner he was rude too. i have decided not to come back to this place and i am going to tell others about their behavior as well.

Liked the food and service but I did not like the pricing

Under new management this restaurant's the quantity of food is decreasing, price is increasing and quality is nose-diving. We are very patient customer, but had to wait more than 40 minutes for having food. If you can't hire manage your crowd, hire more people to manage delivery of food quick. Service here is extremely slow, air conditioning is almost nonexistent and Owner is extremely arrogant....and RUDE to your face....also, children are NOT at all welcome...I think I have ever come across in Austin.....the food isn"t that great and no consistancy, sometime, food is burnt and no customer service. its not worth to visit this place when you can have more halal Mediterranean food with reasoanble price and service. This place used to be own by Palastine person, good food and service, Now Pakistani owner, worst arrogant service.

I disagree with most of the negative reviews which seem way extreme for the gravity of the service issue. We have been to both the joints i.e. the one under review and one in downtown. Food is amazing, worth the wait IF you care for Halal food but if you dont, go eat at an american fast food. We have not found staff there to be rude or arrogant. If you are out there for excellent Pizza, Chicken wings, shawarema etc in Austin area, Arpeggio is the place to be, its as simple as that!

I tried hamburger . It was great . A thick beef with a delicious bread . They are kind people as well . I really enjoyed the restaurant and the services. Do not forget to try their delicious baghliva after your meal.

Yes the service is slow, but worth it. The food is wonderful. Cooked to order, you also have the option to call your order ahead if you know what you want. My family comes all the way from Temple, TX to eat here. The people who think that the staff is rude. Learn to control your children! I myself am a parent and have never been told anything. And likewise have complained if other kids a running around. This is a restaurant NOT a playground!

We are not fussy customers and are usually very patient but had to make the complain here after an extreme incident today....service here is extremely slow, air conditioning is almost nonexistent and staff is extremely arrogant....and RUDE to your face....also, it is listed as "child friendly premises" but children are NOT at all welcome...if you go there, be prepared to chain your kids to their seats or you will get a final warning from Kunan, who is the most rude member of staff I think I have ever come across in Austin.....the food isnt bad but its not worth it with the dose of ignorance and insult you receive from the staff.....Many other Zabihah users have commented the same so dont say we didnt warn you!

They are Awesome

I could have rated this place higher if they have decent staff and better service. I walked in with my family and most of the tables were vacant. We settled down and the guy behind the counter kept on ignoring us. I then walked to him and asked for assistance and instead of doing that he said you should have waited at the door before sitting down right in front of my family and it was quite embarrassing. I again sat there and once this rude guy behind the counter stayed on phone and ignored us. eventually we walked out without dinner. This guy needs to learn manners!. I am rating it at 3 stars because their food is decent and other then that particular guy the restaurant staff is courteous.

I think the food at this restaurant is first-class, but the service is just horrible. We went there at 4:00 pm on a Sunday. We ordered an XL pizza and 10 chicken wings. And then we sat there for 35 minutes waiting for it. That's completely irrational - do they not start kneading dough until someone orders something? This would be a little more acceptable if they would just serve you something....anything...Alborz gives some bread with two squares of feta and some parsley and greens and it's enough to keep you busy for some time while your main meal is being prepared. This restaurant seems to think it's acceptable to leave you sitting there for half an hour with nothing. Following our meal, we commented to the owner about the wait and lack of appetizer, and he bold face lied to us saying that they forgot this time and that they are only human. We have been there many times and they have *NEVER* given us anything to start with. This is how a Muslim establishment treats Muslim patrons? By lying to them? On past visits, we call in our order before we go. I STRONGLY recommend you do the same. Then go to the restaurant about 15 minutes later.

The wings are great I always get the spicy bbq. The shish Kabab platter is also good. I want to try their pizza next.

I visit this place with my family and have found this to be a relaxing place. Shawarma, kabab, chicken wings are all very tasty. Food service is a tad slow, but not noticable with a group of friends/family. Price is reasonable.

at our first visit we found this place very nice and food was good, serving was a bit slow but overall we liked it but at our second visit, we found its terribley bad... we ordered halal chicken pizza but it was giving us too much smell that we didnt eat it. and next morning all of us (who visited arpeggio) found sore throat because the food was made in very bad oil. I dont recommend anyone to go over there...its standard is declining day-by-day.

Please note that not everything is Zabihah halal out here. You have to specifically ask for items on the menu which are Zabihah halal.

Wonderful chicken wings here. Beautiful mural adorning the south wall. Lots of space as well, though I hear that it gets crowded around lunchtime.
