Really Good Chicken Bbq items, and Chicken Curry items however the Kababs have recently went downhill as they are dry and not moist as they used to be. The naans are great and the staff is very friendly.
Best seekh kabab and chicken Karachi I have ever had in Canada. I go to this place whenever I travel to Calgary. Owner is also a nice guy.
We ordered seekh kabab, biryani and Kofta. Taste was good and server was nice and caring. Wait time was not bad. Seating space is very limited. Prices and portions were ok.
I ordered their seekh kabab and boneless chicken karahi to go. The seekh kabab were average but Instead of boneless chicken karahi I got rubber karahi with bone. Never going to this overpriced rip off again. Do yourself and ur wallet a favour, cook yourself a karahi at home with Shan dabba.
Awesome! Went twice tried different meals each time. Small space however quality is there!
Food is indeed good, albeit a bit on the expensive side. However, can someone explain to me why is it that many Muslim owned businesses are staffed by people that look miserable and lack basic hospitality etiquettes? Why are they so unfriendly to people who are patronizing their businesses? Seriously folks, would it pain you to smile or to even greet your customers when they come in to your place of business?
Expensive but good food. Only BBQ items are tasty
Average food. Must admit I have tasted better food in Calgary area. Considering quality of food and crammed place, I will call it over priced. There is not enough room to sit, good place to have take out. Staff is helpful and courteous. Dall was good but don't bother to order goat dishes.
The food tastes great but its really crammed and sometimes impossibly to find a seat. I would go back but for take out or visit the other location if you want to sit down.
It's mainly a take out place. There restaurant on 2nd Ave has a much better decor and sitting arrangement. The food is okay. If you are looking for something especial, this is not the place to go. Lunch buffets are reasonable but there is a lot of room for improvement
Good food and very affordable. Will go their again.
I will not be going to this place again. They really need to do something about the service in this place. When you enter and go to the counter, nobody so much as acknowledges your presence there. You keep waiting for a few minutes before someone helps you. The limited number of items on their menu are good, however, its not fun going to eat out when you only have a handful of items on the menu, and even then, they will tell you that they dont have some items from the menu.
The price was pretty good for our portions, especially compared to other halal restaurants in Calgary. Their kabobs are excellent, probably the best in the city. We also enjoy their chicken karhai.
True that Not a Family Place to eat as they are in Downtown, but the food was great, their Chicken Karhai was just awesome, Good Food, Good Price
I've heard a lot about this place, so I recently stopped in for a bite to eat. Lousy service and not a lot of place to sit and enjoy the food. The kebab's had a little too much tumeric, the ribs were just fat and no beef, but the naan was good.
Just went there today and found it to be good quality for the price. There's not much place to sit and eat your food so you are better off taking it home if there's a big group of you. Had the Mirchi Kabob and it was really yummy..spicy too :) Would go back again only because price was really good compared to other places in town that offer halal food.
