The Viceroy of India is part of the Jinnah group of restaurants and has recently been refurbished to a high standard. We pride ourselves on the quality of the dishes we serve, using only fresh ingredients and prepared by expert chefs. We have been established here for many years and are pleased to serve both the residents of York and its visitors. People come from all over the World to see the beauty of York and to sample the restaurants in the city.<br /> <br /> We are located just outside the city walls at Monk Bar and we are within easy distance of all the shops and nightlife that York has to offer. There is plenty of parking nearby and it is only 5 minutes from the famous York Minster.<br /> <br /> You can choose from our extensive a la carte menu where we cater for all palates, hot and spicy to medium and mild; whatever your requirements we will be pleased to provide them. Families and children are welcome.
