This restaurant does not serve halal meat anymore! I visited Real Indiana during a business trip to Lisbon in June 2008 and asked the waiter and subsequently the owner, whether the food they serve is halal. The owner told me that they used to serve halal meat, but as it is very difficult to get halal meat supplied in Lisbon they have switched to non-halal meat. At least he was honest enough to admit that, so I ordered a vegetarian meal there.

Good food, particularly the chicken pakora. Food is a bit creamier and less spicy than we're used to in the UK. Desserts are mostly Portguese. Daal is fantastic. Halal certificate is not on display, but they will show it to you if requested (it's in Portuguese, though).
